Wiggins DEFINITELY benefited heavily from other West forwards being injured this season... George, Kawhi, AD, Kristaps, Zion etc... I mean he's doing a good job in his role for an elite team, and I'm not trying to downplay the importance of that, but I'm not even sure someone averaging 18 and 4 deserves to make the all star team period, much less be a starter.

Klay Thompson in 2015 made the all star starter being 22/3.8/2 on very similar efficiency. Now that's 4pts, but Klay was the obvious number 2 and was integrated in the system well. He's an all star most definitely if you've watched. These basic eye stats don't always tell the whole story. His defence has been elite this year.

The amount of casuals I have seen in the past ten minutes either arguing for a guard to be over Wiggins or say that Wiggins doesn’t deserve it is astounding. Wiggins doesn’t have the greatest numbers, but he is extremely efficient and he is one of the best 2 way players in the league. Last I checked defense is part of the game. Obviously offense usually beats out for this event, but his recognition is well deserved

@@juheard3015 So you don't need Bron playing PF at this point, so just go with Towns PF, Jokic C, and then Bron would be SF. Plus, if you really wanna argue, statistically there are more better players than Wiggins in the NBA rn. But I get it bro Wiggins deserves it but again not a starter.

As a warriors fan I'm happy for Wiggins, but I would rather take Luka doncic, Donovan Mitchell, KAT or Devin booker over him as a starter. Don't get me wrong he definitely deserves to be an all-star.

luka, donovan mitchell and booker are all guards. wiggins didn’t take the all-star starter spot away from them. u would have to look at steph curry, who was a lock anyway, and ja morant. as for towns maybe u have an argument.
