Yeah. Gary Anderson for South Africa… (Vietnam flashbacks)
Joe Greene also was a part of the Steelers scouting staff in the 2000s that helped the team won 2 more Super Bowls BTW
Don Hudson the G.O.A.T who paid the way for Wide Receivers that we still remember seeing from back then to right now in NFL's History 1:46
Here's an idea for a future video: Who are the best players to play for the team they grew up a fan of? Most players don't end up on the team they cheered for as a child, but a handful do and end up carving out great careers in the process. I think of someone like Adam Thielen for the Vikings or Chuck Bednarik for the Eagles.
My dad was born in Fort Wayne and was a varsity swimmer for one of the high schools there. He actually swam against Rod Woodson in highschool because swimming was Woodson's winter sport of choice instead of basketball or something else. My dad can actually say he beat a hall of fame football player in a swim meet 😂
For Kentucky I would've chosen Shaun Alexander!

Maryland is pretty sad with Stefon Diggs. P.S. I’m a Bills mafia.
As a Steelers fan Mel Blound was the Man in Pittsburgh winning all 4 Super Bowl Rings in 1974 1975 1978 1979 NFL's Defensive player of the year in 1975 he went to Southern University in Louisiana 5:50
Steven Jackson was an excellent running back who was on some horrible Rams teams.
When people argue about which state produces the best football talent, all I respond with is that California gave us the GOAT Tom Brady. 🔥

@juandufree4309 I don't know anything about his time in Alaska. I'll take your word for it that he isn't part of Alaska. I do know that on his show he speaks very fondly of his time growing up in Alaska.
For Indiana, Bob Griese should've been on that list, he won two super bowls, was part of the undefeated 1972 season
Daryn Collegde played for my high school, and it was always pretty cool to see the golden football they have for the super bowl he won in the trophy case. Coming out of Alaska and having any kind of talent is pretty cool.
I went to the same High School Steven Jackson graduated from years earlier, it was pretty cool seeing his jersey in the basketball gym.
Walter Payton is without question the greatest athlete from Mississippi
This is a great video because they looked at the entire history of the NFL
This was fun but c'mon bruh, Alan Page at least deserved a shoutout. Only other defensive player ever to get MVP?

As a saints fan i will tolerate ZERO vernon davis slander. He never had the receiving numbers as Gronk or Graham but he wasnt ever in a system that fed him the ball. He was a blocker who could scorch you on a go route coming out a 3 point stance he was COLD
Texas is already Patrick mahomes Marshall Faulk and Ed reed could be LA
It feels so ironic that the best player to ever come out of Ohio was a Pittsburgh Steelers legend that I can't help but find it hilarious even as a Bengals fan
If it were me, I would've picked Dan Marino for the best player from Pennsylvania.
Maybe do the best NFL players from each country next.
Barry Sanders was the most electrifying RB to ever play the game of football because he's a phenomenal player to watch Born and Raised from Kansas went to Oklahoma State won the Heisman Trophy in 1988 a 1st Round 3rd overall pick in the 1989 NFL Draft by the Lions #20 8:00
Kurt Warner is probably my favorite QB of all time he’s just such a genuine good guy.
Texas has to be Mahomes!
would have been cool if you included Canada (not the provinces individually but just like as a whole; Bronko Nagurski is probably the overall pick for canada for now. but also other countries could be tossed in like the uk, australian, etc)
I would love to see this set up as a roster!
From Nebraska: I can think of Mick Tingelhoff, Ahman Green and Guy Chamberlain (won NFL title with Frankford Yellow Jackets in 1926.)

Randall McDaniel was a BadAss of a football player Underrated if you think about it but he didn't disappoint with Minnesota but he really was something 2:36
JJ Watt was absolutely a BadAss of a football player 1st Round 11th overall University of Wisconsin in the 2011 NFL Draft 3X Defensive player of the year but he really was amazing to watch the Pewaukee Wisconsin Native was truly one of the kind 23:13
Just want to give a shoutout to Brett Keisel from WY. He was a great D-Lineman for the Steelers in the 2000’s.
Randy Moss was like a video game type of a player 1st Round 21st overall University of Marshall Thundering Herds in the 1998 NFL Draft selected by the Minnesota Vikings by coach Dennis Green 24:08
Randy White was the real deal in Dallas of the DoomsDay Defense 4:18
Hey here's an idea you can think about. Maybe spotlighting the most stacked division races in a season. For example the 1994 NFC North had 4/5 teams make the playoffs. Or this past season with the AFC North teams all finishing with a winning record. 1984 NFC East, and AFC Central were also strong.
Deacon Jones huh, hmm I can live with that but like you said there are a lot of players that can go on the list. I go with Ray Lewis but good choice.
As a rams fan I’m very upset that he picked Joe Montana over Aaron Donald, but I understand… I guess.
Diggs!..Sideline!..Touchdown!.. Im cool with him for Maryland. Can't think of anyone better.
Thank you NFL Throwback for helping me occupy time until football starts!
I don't know who Chet Bulger is but all they said was that he suited up for the st Louis Cardinals in there championship year in 1947...I know there's someone else from Maine that they could of come up with, maybe not im going to look up nfl players from Maine and see....great video tho i love knowing facts that nobody else does so when im with my friends watching the game i can randomly blurt out that adam vinatieri is from south dakota

@@mariosnum1fan That's what I have to assume. The fact that he included Big Ben, James Harrison, Russell Wilson, and the Kelces speaks of someone who probably got into football during the late 2000s/early 2010s or, at the very least, isn't as well-read upon historic NFL teams.
