Thanks for this. We are planning a trip there in 2024 and my daughter is vegetarian. Look like delicious food options for her, and us :)

The room where it happened was in New York City, so not in Williamsburg. Hamilton did stay in Williamsburg with the Continental Army before the battle of Yorktown.

Interesting ; ) Several tour guides made it a point to say it was there in that very room in WIlliamsburg so perhaps they're wrong 🤷🏻‍♀

@@HealthyVoyagerTV I can even give you the address. 57 Maiden Lane, New York. The date was June 20 1790, when Congress was temporarily meeting in NYC. Jefferson lived and worked there. Hamilton lived in New York as well at the time. If the room where it happened was anywhere else, it was in Philadelphia, but later in 1797/ 1794. I think it’s a shame when people (those guides) misuse history this way. Williamsburg doesn’t need this. It’s interesting and fascinating as it is!

@@carmenm.4091that’s great info, but like I mentioned, I was told this information by the guide and the tourism board so I was only relaying the info I was told 🤷🏻‍♀️

You left out so much of what Colonial Williamsburg is really about.
