This travel vlog is about our 2 night stay at The Funny Lion - El Nido. Our stay at this El Nido hotel was actually unplanned. We were suppose to stay on a different resort but the plan did not materialize (due to some unfortunate events). But God is really good as he directed us to this beautiful hotel in El Nido, Palawan.
Number 1 Hotel in El Nido (TripAdvisor)
We've been to Coron twice and have seen The Funny Lion Coron but we've never had a chance to stay there. So, when we were stuck in El Nido Airport (Lio Airport), Jen suggested that there's Funny Lion in El Nido. She immediately called and the reception (her name is Feb) was very helpful. We then decided to initially book for an overnight stay. :)
To our surprise, The Funny Lion El Nido Philippines is the #1 rated hotel in El Nido, Palawan. And the hotel truly did not disappoint!
The Funny Lion is a hotel chain. We've visited The Funny Lion Coron and The Funny Lion Puerto Princesa is on our bucketlist.

About the tissue on the bottle not for the insects. Man almost comments were wrong. I didn’t have the time to read all but there’s one only one that’s right. It is for the rust from the metal cap. Use it to wipe the bottle holes for you to make you feel comfortable and safe to drink it.🤩

What airport po kayo sa palawan from manila? How much is the van transfer from airport to the funny lion at ilang oras po? thank you.

Sa Lio airport po sa El Nido. Transfer po via Funny Lion van is like 15 to 20 minutes po. Yung price po minimal lng po. Di ko na po maalala hehe

Well i think you have to visit the Mare megmeg hotel, the funny lion is nice when you want a urban hotel i think that for the feeling of the island the Maremegmeg is deffo better.

I WAS THERE LAST FEBRUARY 2024,WE STAYED AT EL NIDO GARDEN RESORTS,IT'S A NICE AND COZY, HOTEL STAFF ARE VERY POLITE.
I really and loved ur video sir. I wanted to visit Palawan but I don’t have any idea where to stay and your recommendation for this hotel is just right. But I have one question left, sana po u know the answer,... is it only one time pass/visit to papaya beach ang ibibigay ng the lio even u stayed with them for 6days?or 6x ka din pwde mag visit sa papaya beach for free?.... ✌️

You can ask the main desk what time is the trip to papaya island. They also send a staff with you to make sure you don't get lost or left behind.
Sir may closet po ba sila like drawer at may safety box din ba?

We booked ours at around 9k+ on a promo rate. Forgot the exact price but I included it in the latter part of the vlog. Thanks for commenting.
