I would like to check this place out since it seems so highly regarded. But yeah... I would be VERY surprised to walk out of Crozet Pizza thinking the best pizza in the world is in Crozet, Virginia. Seems rather unlikely. But it seems very popular so it must be pretty good pizza - and that is enough for a local pizza joint. Thanks for sharing this honest review with us!

We thought it was way overrated and have not gone back. Dr Ho’s Humble Pie in North Garden is much better and no, I don’t work for nor I am in anyway connected to Dr Ho’s.

Great review friends! Another place without paper menus. I wish all restaurants would go back to paper menus. All the pizzas looked good. My favorite style of pizza is New Haven/New York style pizzas. But, I will stop by and try Crozet for myself if I am in the area. Thanks for the review!! Have a blessed day.

Crozet on top of the world!!! What pizza place does not have basil? Interesting. Sounds like they have great pizza but room for improvement :)

They do have delicious pizza. They have basil on the menu but were out of it that day. That' a must for pizza. There is a Harris Teeter close to the restaurant and other stores. Sometimes you have to get products from different suppliers, because Basil is a must! We will definitely go back here. You ever tried it out?

Very good and balanced review. I totally agree about the paper menus. I'm very surprised they wouldn't have basil. That's about like a pizza place not having pepperoni. We get basil sometimes, but that should be a topping anywhere. I will say, this place has a beautiful background setting where you all did the close out. Also, I really like the picture transitions y'all use. I don't know what program you use for these videos, but I have one on my phone, and I have another on my home computer. While the transitions on mine are decent, I can't seem to find the ones that y'all are using. But they really look good.

They normally have basil but were out. There is a Harris Teeter that is close by that they could have gotten basil from. The funny thing is on the website they mention getting basil from a local supplier who trades basil for pizza. Hope they have it next time we go. Thanks for comment on the transitions. As you know editing the videos takes a lot of time so I'm glad that you noticed the transitions. We will be glad to share with you the program information if you are interested. Y'all are able to get out a lot more videos than we do. Hope y'all have a great week!

@vafunseekers I would definitely be interested in knowing which program you use. I have one on my home computer, that I've used for years. I have a completely different one on my phone. But yes, I've definitely noticed the transitions. Video editing is definitely a lot of work. I have no idea when I'll get all of the Florida stuff done. Quite honestly, it's overwhelming right now.

The pizzas looked really good; especially the mushroom pizza. Towards the beginning of the video, when you informed us of all of the accolades the pizzas have been awarded with, we were about to cancel our weekend plans in the Smokies and head to Crozet, Virginia. We were waiting until the end and the comparison to how it stacks up against Grimaldi's since y'all share the same opinion of their pizza being the absolute best around. Hopefully you guys will get to try their dessert next time. We enjoyed your review and hope that you guys had a great weekend.

Thanks so much! Grimaldi's is hard to beat! Pizza places have big shoes to fill when we come in and compare them to Grimaldi's. lol But the pizza was delicious and we definitely will go there again. We are planning on being in the Smokies this weekend too!

Try Bilbos Pizzeria if you are ever in New castle area VA . Small town, small establishment, usually busy with a fairly long wait, but the pizza was always amazing. We always stopped there after away games at Craig County High School. Thanks for sharing your experiences.

I ate there a few years back. I got a traditional Pepperoni Pizza, it was good but I think it had black pepper on the pizza.

Glad you got there. The pizza there is good, not to mention the brewery’s , winery’s and the peach orchard located close by. We have been camping in the area since 2013. Check out the hippy wings at Fardowners.

Try Dr Ho’s Humble Pie in North Garden on 29 south of Charlottesville. The pizza is wonderful and so is the chocolate pot de crème is amazing!

Both of those pizzas looked good, especially the mushroom one. Have never been here, but I believe I’ve eaten pizzas just as good or better right here in our part of the state. I’d match a pizza from Blaze Pizza against these any day.

Blaze pizza is good for sure. This is definitely different than Blaze but it is also very good. Perini's Pizza was some of the best in the area before they closed. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Pizza without basil? Really strange! Even if there wasn't a Harris Teeter nearby, there's always Dollar Tree if worse comes to worst! And, the QR code menus? That went out along with the paranoia that created it. Finally, as a senior citizen, I've learned that anything touted as "best", usually isn't. However, the pizza here looked good. Saw quite a few on the menu that would be worth trying. However, I usually custom order. Good wake-up video. God Bless!

The pizza was good here and we would definitely go back. However, I do not understand the out of basil for this restaurant. They get some of their items/ingredients from local farmers. Not having basil is almost like not having sauce. lol But the pizza was good even without the fresh basil. Have a blessed day!

The meat meat pizza looked good. I'd have to swap out the Italian sausage for regular sausage if they have it. Spicy sausage is not my thing either. Have yall ever been to BILL'S PIZZA in Danville? When I was little, my brother took me there back in the eighties when he lived there. I suppose it's still open?

The meat me pizza was very good. The sausage was regular sausage made by a local but Carly thought it was a little spicy. I like spicy food so I thought it was delicious. We have not had Bill's Pizza. We looked it up on Google and found Bill's Pizza Pub located in Greensboro and Oakridge NC. Do you think this could be the same restaurant? According to the website they cut their pizza in squares. Hope you are having a good week.

We saw an elderly couple in the restaurant that the waitress had to scan the menu for them on her phone. Some people don't have phones or have one in case of an emergency. We had looked the menu up before we went so we knew what we wanted. But the pizza was delicious here. Thanks for watching and commenting.
