WoW!!! You guys go a great deal for $399.. Kohls has since upgraded the bike to the ProForm PRO TC Exercise Bike PFEX79920 @ the price of $999. I also saw it in one other place (the upgraded bike) for $799. Will be purchasing for my birthday soon. Thanks for sharing.

Love this bike. One of the best purchases we've made. IFIT has gotten way better. And we swapped out the seat for one that's still sleek but has more cushion.

How do you like it?

What was the resistance like changing it through buttons as opposed to a knob? I have Les Mills on Demand, so I need to manually change the resistance.

Soo without using an app, can you set the resistance manually? Because when I do, it does change the resistance but after a minutes it reverts back to 1.

Still on the fence with the resistance, as loud as the pads are they are dependable, seen a lot of errors on these, like the CH0 and CH1?

i got the family account thing where i can have up to 4 people use ifit app for free. i was planning on allowing my family to use it . can they use their own ipad / device or does the bike only connect to one device?

Hey!!! I got this bike, but im 6'00 and havent been able to adapt to the handlebars because they are a little low... so im hoping to find out where do you set your seat? any thoughts/tricks lol?

I ride with my seat high and handle bars low. But I ride my road like this also. Unfortunately the handle bars don’t go high enough for taller riders to sit upright.

Can it Bluetooth from you tablet to a bigger tv

Does the wahoo cadence sensor come up on the peloton workout screen or do you have to use a phone or other monitor?

I now use an iPad 12.9” as my display and yes it comes up in the screen

No. You get that on the display. The only time you need that app is for watts

I put some Venzo hybrid pedals on mine. I have clips and cage.

Ever have an issue with the seat post making an irritating creaking noise? It started on the very first ride. It does it whether the saddle is set for my height or my girlfriend's height. The noise is definitely coming from where the seat post slides into the frame. Loosening the height adjustment knob and sliding the seat up or down and putting it back will stop the creaking temporarily, but it comes back after 10-15 minutes.

I believe you can add a Wahoo or other brand cadence speed sensor from Amazon to pedal arm. That can send via bluetooth to your phone or tablet to interact / upload to your ride app like Peloton or Strava or Zwift. Just learning this stuff myself....lol David in Texas

Did you come up with a work around for the resistance setting location? You still happy with it? I'm looking at a year old used one for $200.

I adjusted the magnetic arm using a video on KZread but it’s still not as strong as I would like.

You can manually control resistance or use IFit

You can't unless its an actual Peloton Bike. On these DIY set up you change resistance manually

It won’t fit with a case, I have the same set up using a 10.2 iPad and the lip that grabs the iPad only sticks out far enough to accommodate it without a case on it.

Is the metric tracker accurate (e.g. miles and calories)?

Kohl's no longer carries this version, it has upgraded to the Proform Pro TC. It looks like the same bike but they added an attached screen for ifit workouts.

what was your work around for the tablet placement and + - resistance settings? Seems like a terrible place to put the settings. It may be a deal breaker for me.

I use a stick-on iPad holder which acts as a riser. It Sits right above the buttons. Works for me.

Most Spin bikes use SPD standard Mountain Bike pedal / shoe interface. Cleats are metal & unbreakable.

The bike was easy to assemble. It is very quiet. My friend and I can be working/reading in the office, while the other is riding the bike.

Cannot find anything below $600 which direct from ProForm (checked kohl's and Sam's club) . If anybody find otherwise please share.

Its not as strong as the new peloton unless you adjust the magnet. There is a tutorial on KZread. It took me 5 minutes. 16 is now like 90 on Peloton. I normally ride on 12.

@@jamilcostley1 I did my own adjustment of the bolts by the spring. I also have a second layer of a thin magnet to get closer to the wheel. I went to ace hardware for the magnet.

@@relationshiprundown-thelov5094 thanks for the reply. I saw a comment under the video the explains how to do the adjustment saying that they were able to do it by only using the barrel adjuster towards the front. I’m going to do mine when I get off work. I’ll let you know how it goes.

You should be able to used the up and down + - to adjust resistance. Make sure your batteries work. Make sure your connections are correct.
