Best Part of the Trip! Canadian Arctic | Flying through a mountain pass | Episode 12

On this episode we fly back to the Canadian Arctic town of Iqaluit to refuel and continue north through the majestic Akshayuk pass with it's legendary peaks Mount Odin, The world's tallest cliff Mount Thor, and Mount Asgard featured in a James Bond film. We arrive to Qikiqtarjuaq to explore it's small town charm surrounded by stunning landscapes.
In this video series I hope to offer a glimpse into the challenges of preparing and actually flying across the Atlantic ocean, navigating over the remote northern landscapes and vast stretches of water, and experiencing breathtaking views that only a small plane can offer. Join me as I share insights into the planning and execution of this flight, including the joys and challenges faced along the way. Whether you're a seasoned pilot, an aviation enthusiast, or someone who dreams of adventure, this video series offers something for everyone. I hope you enjoy this journey as much as I did.

Thanks again for taking the time to put these videos together, what a trip and that Cardinal 177 sure seems like an efficient airplane, mine also sips on around 7 gallons an hour but at 105 Knots 😝 Stay well my friend and thanks again for sharing this amazing adventure with us….for sure on my bucket list…

again, top notch presentation of your trip! Thanks for taking us along, nice to relive some of the views 😀 Also a good thing the weather is cooperating, my view of POI Mt Thor was nice, but then quickly deteriorated. Again thanks, looking towards the next ones.

Brilliant! Wonderful scenery. Thank you for sharing. I've been following along all the videos. One suggestion. A map would be great. This one in particular was hard to understand where you were going to and from. The names of the places are not known to me.
