@@Roach44330i revisit yu gi oh duelist of the roses and yu gi oh forbidden memories once a year. Who knows how many hours unaccounted for those games are still racking up today from people all over.

Maaan, Yugioh's game soundtracks are just awesome, a total blessing Konami is in charge of Yugioh. Konami's composers are so good.

Free Duel theme just feels into the heart and soul of my best memories

This is amazing. I haven't seen any videos like this before. It gets me involved into listening, watching the game play, and appreciating the type of music it is based on the description. Very nicely done. It must have taken you a while to get this together and it is put together very well. Keep it up! Looking forward to your future uploads. Yu-G-Oh! is my all time favorite series and very nostalgic to me.

I remember going to Walmart with my older brother one night. I ended up going to the video game section and I saw the PlayStation aisle. The first thing I noticed was Yu-Gi-Oh! Forbidden Memories on the shelf. The front cover is a pharaoh with a card. I knew I needed that game. I remember seeing two versions one more expensive than the other. It had the promos and one didn’t. I ended up walking away with the game that night. Of course I didn’t buy it I was a kid but my brother did. I told him I’ll pay him later. The moment I popped it on my PlayStation with my friend who we loved playing Yugioh. It was an incredible feeling. The tournament sound track is here which is amazing 🤩 My favorite game of all time.

Free duel is so so so good.

Capsule monsters coliseum is sooo fucking good, it could easily be a high-level competitive game... I would totally place Kuriboh in S-Tier, his high attack, good movement and OP ability put boss monsters to shame. If CMC had some kind of ban list i would put Kuriboh on the semi-limited list (only 2 units per game)

The game could not be competitive because it is incredibly unbalanced: Earth symbol gives literal thousands of HP when maxed out to earth, and super attack to light. it steamrolls the others. Also, if it could get a bit more balanced, the dominant team would be Fire symbol (wind has ridiculous range and damange under fire symbol), Thunder symbol (huge damage / movement of dark + thunder), and Earth symbol (as previously mentioned. The other symbols are all extremely subpar as defensive symbols are super underwhelming: Dark (thunder = defense), Light, Wind, Water, and Wood(wood has terrible movement anyways).

In any case I fucking LOVE that game so much and have beaten it countless times and with all symbols and tried to make challenges for myself to make it more difficult such as no leveling, using 1 less monster than all opponents, etc. IDK man I wish they made a sequal and added difficulty levels or something because there was SOOO much potential with it, but it just never ramped up. :(

@@zackzaktm2758 it could be balanced in a competitive scenario, i guess. Speaking of balancing, there is a modder, Oak, who is modding CMC to add the cut content, NG+ and balance all cards and symbols.

I'm creating a card game/board inspired by CMC and Chess. It's called Warchezz. So far the game is getting better each day. I have plenty of classes, cards, different playstyles, and ways to play the game. As a fan of CMC myself, I think everyone would like Warchezz as well.

Can't thank you enough for this. Such a painstacking, yet enjoyable process it must have been!

I started playing Reshef of destruction when I was like 6-8 and it took me years of on and off playing and grinding to finally beat it, so hearing some of the themes from that game here really takes me back. Thank you man

To this day, I still don't know what genre is used for Forbidden Memories' soundtrack; perhaps it's a mix of Disco and Techno/Minimal Techno.

The generation of developers that weren’t lazy and greedy and cared about their games.

How'd you find a higher quality version of the main theme of The Sacred Cards? I always thought it sounded great for a GBA game, but it sounds much cleaner here than it does on the GBA.

nice tracks but surprised that for all the Duel Links tracks, you didn't include the original Yami Yugi and Kaiba battle themes as well as Mako and Joey/Mai theme. They're the best from that game imo
