Does anyone know why they are censoring out the front of Rob McCullough's shorts? Must be a sponsor they don't like?

They forgot to show Miguel Torres. He was the Bantamweight and wrecked most of that division. Yeah he lost, but you can’t always win, such as life.

He got rocked one time, and never really recovered as a fighter. He was still good, but that ko changed his career

for some reason when i was younger i always thought WEC fights were just ufc fights in mexico cuz of the beer sponsors lmao

frank mir on commentary was great.

Man I remember all these fights. I almost forgot how dominate Urijah was in the WEC until Aldo came along. He used to be so quick & slick, and would also create new moves on the fly. He was real popular in the WEC too.

Only problem with the WEC was that some divisions, in some consecutive years, were just the same 8 guys fighting each other on repeat. And sometimes the difference in skills from top4 vs bottom4 wasn’t even close

Probably the WEC they pretty much took the whole featherweight and bantamweight division over to UFC.

It's WEC by a longshot. Before the buyout, 125-155 had the best fighters in the world. Even the ones who didn't crossover like Miguel Torres, were considered the best at that time

miguel torres did crossover to the ufc but never had the same success like he did in the wec and his fights were forgettable.

World Extreme Cage fighting ran from 2001-2009. World Enduro Championship didn't form until 2018.
