Old style like this doesn't exist anymore. Tactical, clean, precision. MD nowadays are getting monotonous. Fast & powerful smash is a must. We're gonna miss the daddies

I think one fact is often overlooked from Ahsan/Setiawan pair, that Ahsan is not only there to smash, but he also got the wrist for some magical shots just like Setiawan.

And Setiawan is also reliable on back court. He does not have strong smash but the placement of his smash is unpredictable. Therefore, they can change their position any day any time and that makes their game more unpredictable.

Ahsan has great reading skills at the front too if you pay attention to this highlight.
We absolutely need more of this kind of content. Please do another legend like Lin Dan, Liliyana Natsir, and Zhao Yunlei!
Love the small rivalries between the Chinese players. Liu has a massive amount of respect for them, he's gone on to say that Setiawan is his idol. LYD also talks highly of them any chance he gets on his KZread channel. How can anyone dislike this pair? We're lucky to witness legends play
The quality, vision and creativity of this pair are just endlessly watchable. They see the court as a three-dimensional playground full of possibilities. When I am on court I would be playing at my best if I could visualize just half the shots these guys play.

I like how Goh V Shem surprisingly smiled after seeing Setiawan's return :D
Kenapa mereka bisa awet banget karirnya... Karena mereka main cerdas ,, Akhsan meski smashnya kenceng tp gak main asal gebuk terus... jd bisa jaga stamina dan konsisten terus.. hendra pemain ganda putra paling kalem paling cool tp mematikan.. bola kayak dibikin punya mata ama Hendra... Bisa lari ke posisi lapangan yg kosong.. kebanyakan lawan daddies pasti dibikin "ngepel lantai" sama pukulan ajaib dr mereka terutama Hendra Setiawan... Sudah gak bisa meminta apa² lagi dr mereka... Tinggal menikmati masa² terakhir mereka sebelum bener² gantung raket... Salah satu legenda terbaik ganda putra... 👏👏👏👏

Bukan hanya itu. Footwork Hendra dan Ahsan memang bagus sekali, jadi mereka bisa cover lapangan dengan efisien. Ditambah lagi, stroke mereka sangat baik, jadi bisa mukul keras tanpa memakan terlalu banyak tenaga. Yang terakhir, mereka memang terkenal sangat disiplin dalam berlatih, makanya bisa bertahan selama ini
I'm totally forgot that young Ahsan and Hendra has so powerfull smash. But even tho today they can't do the same level of the smash anymore, they still compete at the highest level. I'm lucky enough to see them play since Hendra paired with Kido and then with Ahsan.
Clever, brilliant, beauty, super, amazing . That's normal word when you see The Daddies
if they didn't become hall of famers and G.O.A.T. of men's doubles, I don't know who else would be. I think there will be no debate that they are the G.O.A.T. of men's doubles.
