Imagine this, they started off as individuals who were unlikely to be together what more be friends. But at the end of part 1, music unite them. Different personalities (genre) combined to become a solid group (mash up). In part 2, the group might have problems brought by individually but still they found their music (why they are friends). And with this, they believe they must be always together success or not. Thats why Beca cant accept the contract without the other group. But eventually you will learn that even though you may take separate journeys, career or path, your friendship will stay the same. Thats why I love this movie. True friendship.

Lol I was part of a girls chorus of 3 years and it's almost exactly like that. We don't always sound good but one person will start singing and the rest of us will join in and some will try and harmonise. It was really fun and I miss it.

the opening scene is one of the best moments in movie history - when anna kendrick hits that opening note and then when everybody comes in "ayo ayo ayo ayoooo"

While Becca and Chloe are my 2 favorites for singing in Pitch Perfect, Aubrey coming in with her perfect pitch gives a "complete" feeling to the songs they sing. Like the sound snaps into place.

I love these. In all honesty I was in choir in high school (would've gone further cuz I love singing but I'm not great performing for audiences)and I can tell you performances like these are actually really hard...makes it even more impressive when you know the work behind it.

i like how the bellas can just harmonize out of the blue wherever they go

imagine how embarrasing it would be if one of them started singing a song that nobody else knew the lyrics to....
