RV's restraint at the start of Cosmic is very intentional as shown in their recording video; they're really trying to convey a sense of mystery with dark undertones during each verse. Their delivery combined with that deep bass line really sells it.

Babymonster is truly scary how young and talented they already are!

Since Chill Kill, Red Velvet has been doing vocal-heavy tracks in their chorus hooks, and I love to hear this. It's very refreshing and very reminiscent of their 2018 works.

Ahyeon has no fault if other idols are doing less than what they're supposed to do. Ahyeon should just be herself. People these days are used to seeing talentless idols then when they see an actual talented idol they're scared and jealous. I can't with these haters.

It was Joy who was disappointed with promotions/teasers not so much the MV. I mean I think Joy as well as the other members was hoping that SM would make more of an effort..a grand effort because they are celebrating their 10th anniversary. But SM literally did the bare minimum, luckily because the girls have wonderful personalities and connections, they appeared in KZread shows and was invited to programs like it’s live. But no knowing brothers? No other variety shows? I don’t know support from SM was very lack luster. I’m just happy that the girls still managed to truly enjoy this comeback..and ReVeluvs showed up and gave so much love. They managed to be nominated for #1 in multiple music shows and “Cosmic” and mini album did really well on charts. It just could not get the wins in music shows. But the fact that they got nominated and were so close to winning just shows that they are still well loved and relevant. That’s proof of Red Velvet’s longevity, they are timeless like their music.

I feel like all of the big 4 (SM, JYP, YG, & HYBE) are all starting to lack in promoting their groups. They'll do the most during the first yr or 2 a group debuts but then stop doing that & only do the bare minimum after. Like we saw with Itzy & Aespa, they were heavily promoted the first yr or so, but then weren't afterwards. I have a feeling BaeMon will also most likely experience the same thing then go on long hiatuses like BP did. Hopefully I'm wrong but it's a pattern I've seen with many groups.

@@holoinfinity4691 it's quite a normal practice actually. If you look from the company standpoint, why would you promote the older group that much anyway? It might seem harsh unless you are the company's moneymaker then maybe it's an exception. On your BM's point, i don't see any good in them giving long hiatus for BM. they are basically carrying the company right now alongside Treasure after BP has gone their separate ways. They have to make sure BM works so "dungeon" them is not the right way. Like it or not, groups when they left said company, they rarely make music together anymore and even if they do, probably release like a single or a mini.

@@holoinfinity4691 of course the company’s will always look to the future, so they’ll continue to debut another group after 2 years. It happens in every generation and it definitely makes me sad for the groups that I love in 2nd and 3rd generation to see them not the same effort and not prioritized when they’ve brought in so much money and attention to their company. They always look for the next big thing, which I understand..they are business/company at the end of the day. But still give some attention and priority to the senior artists in your company too! My age is truly showing as I’m more of a 2nd gen/3rd gen a little bit of 4th gen multi-stan. LOL!! I tend to really feel a bit more for the senior artists, but I’m also very concern for the younger groups in each company. Like you said, there’s a pattern in all companies..one minute you’re the hottest thing and top priority and the next year or two there’s a new group or artist they want to prioritize. Again I get it..but ughh how about the other artists? 😒😆🥺

I love *Red Velvet.* Their tracks are phenomenal. Their vocals are insane. I like their dancing and rapping. Their discography is top-tier. Their MVs are intriguing.

It is really painful that a 17-year-old girl has to endure all those haters’ hateful comments. They tried to pretend they liked Ahyeon but suggested her sining in a lower register or volume so that it did not seem like she was screaming the top of her lungs, but the truth is those are still idiots who are jealous of her being able to sing such high register in such a powerful voice. I totally agree with Katriinka here because that was what I have been feeling about those comments. I hope Ahyeon could just enjoy the stage, keep on being herself and sing the way she has always been doing since her trainee days. Seriously, she does not deserve all those hate! It is not a must to stan her, but don’t pretend as if you like her and hurt her with all those unthoughtful words.

Hey just wanted to clear it up! As someone who can speak Thai, it's pronounced Parita and not Farita, as we tend to put Ph in the spelling. The same way that Phuket is pronounced with a P and not an F. Hope that helps!

exactly, I've commented this like hundred of times already just let them be themselves. They are technically just 5 month old as 7. And people already try to tell her to tone it down like gosh people are miserable sometimes. If YG sees it as a problem they'd probably call her out but the fact that it didn't happen means YG is content with it. Babymonster's songs are catchy, but what sets them apart from other K-Pop girl groups is each member's unique voice. Other groups often blend their voices, making 4-9 members sound like one, which can be tiresome as many K-Pop groups end up sounding similar. Babymonster, however, maintains each member's distinct vocal style. Even with my eyes closed, I can easily identify which member is singing, and their distinct voices harmonizing together sound even better.

I also want to give props to Ruka singing in the beginning in the 2nd chorus as well. She sounded great!! We get to hear a bit more of Ruka’s singing voice in the intro and in the 2nd chorus. I hope she gets to sing a little bit more on the album and future title tracks cuz her vocal tone is really pretty. I loved the back and forth vocal moment of Ruka and Asa singing “MY LOVE..MY LOVE..MY LOVE..MY LOVE.” in “Stuck In The Middle”. I feel people tend to associate Ruka as the cool/swag rapper and dancer, but she can sing, write her own rap lyrics, and has talent to compose music too. Chiquita has also been learning to rap as we saw in the behind the scenes of SHEESH. There’s so many other sides of each member that we have yet to discover. So I hope YGE truly helps the girls show their versatility and build on their existing talents too.

We can hear more of Ruka siniging from pre-debut performance "Don't know what to do". Members were lib-sing dancing along with their own pre-recorded vocals. Ruka sang many lines with complicate lyrics and melodies

Irene was given an opportunity to sing more lately and I'm so excited for her solo coming out this year. Also Yeri. I like her lower tone so much. glad they let her start the bridge part. And for the last. I don't know if anybody would notice but since feel my rhythm their vocals improved a lot. It was good back then but it's like they gave up on other unnecessary things and showed the full unique potential of their singing style which I really like so much. It doesn't feel like jumping out of SM Main Vocal textbook anymore. They have their own sounds.

Love coming home when your new video is up, I listen while changing and doing the aaa, oooo vocal rifts etc when you do it. It’s so relaxing 🤭

I'd recommend checking out Kiss Of Life's new b-side *Te Quiero* that was released alongside Sticky. It has sooo many beautiful vocals and is really melodic and another perfect summer song! :)

I really recommend you to check out "sixth sense", a LIVE cover by kiss of life! They utilised many techniques to rap, belt and even pull of a crazy whistle note, I'd be so interested to hear your opinion on it!
