@@HemangxVyas Bro Ive actually studied about him...though Web series has also covered many aspects properly..talking about Indian economy at large, Harshad Mehta however big transaction he might have done but the Indian economy was too large at that stage too to cause a significant dent also he only did what the govt. Allowed to happen in case of foreign banks in the name of Globalisation ..while the athaurities caught him but forgot about the rotten Corporate- political Nexus which caused it to happen.. That was just a half cure to a severe disease ...which still exists today in another form

@@HemangxVyas Sucheta was only against Harshad Mehta not against the real culprits like Manubhaimaneklal shown as mundra , A.S thiyagarajan of Citi Bank (shown as tyagi ) Ajay Kayan (shown as Ajay Kedia) they were the real ones who started short selling and depleting the prices Harshad was a culprit but he had 20% role only in this scam rest was by these guys main by Bear cartel and citi bank so it is not just a Harshad mehta scam but the bear cartel scam. The money market scam for years was done A.S Thiyagarajan and Ajay Kayan they had a monopoly over money market that's why Harshad Brought the small banks together and he had finished the citi bank autocracy but the so called fuckin Dalal ignored the bears but they killed Harshad in the custody he was not allowed for medicines he had a heart problem Dalal is whore not a journalist

you perhaps are missing the point, what HM did was a common practice at that time. Even sucheta's friend had said that he used to do that too. The foreign banks were doing it for years until HM broke the monopoly. But sucheta never mentioned the irregularities of those foreign banks. This is a bit similar to the Nambi Narayan story when India had failed to handle the foreign pressures and corrupted govt acted in self interest rather than the mass. Sucheta was just a corrupted lady herself who was biased and had no concern about her own country. The market would not have crushed and the foreign bank cartels would have perished if she was not such a puppet.

This women is just too trained actor. Amazing performance 🙏🙏

@@bhaveshtrivedi7730 there is an episode in the end i think 9th or 10th...where Harshad explains how citi bank was the main issue..i think in the same episode they show some news which says about bear gang and other factors too in Sucheta dalals column.. meaning Harshad exploited the loop hole in such great extent that it was obvious for him to get caught...he became rags to riches in few years... whereas everyone else took lot of time...so the crimes and illegal activities done by other people could not be exposed smoothly or in a classy way...but Harshad doing it so fast...he got trapped himself...by taking loan from sbi for i think pnb...and then loan from NHB for sbi...he just expected the bse will always go up..as long as he pushes which is not how stock market works...it has to go in ups and downs...and people make profits from there...and eventually the losses need to balanced carefully...but Harshad was so fast he could not bear the losses ... hence took loans...which is the public money...thats why it is a crime...if you are taking public money...then it is your risk... because atleast you need to return it back in the same way if not returned with interests or profits.... but Harshad lost the money...he just believed after stock market opens he can get out the money..but market was going down and the scam of 5000crore is enough for public to pull the money from stock market..and hence bse falls .. eventually public lost the money...so that's a crime... Harshad is not a villain he is an anti hero...whose intention was not crime but to make profits but made profits from the wrong ground...in a wrong way... because if takes loans and nobody opposes it then everyone will... imagine hundreds of crores taken in loan and then putting it in share market... people still do that even now...but it's their responsibility to take loans legally...by providing collateral or br etc...else everybody will take loan bindass...so someone needs to do something and point out Harshad flaw methods...if you remember his meeting with rbi governor...and the governor saying he requires only 10 mins to prove him wrong..harshad just believed in profit making and didn't care for the losses...if you have small profits...then small losses can happen which is bearable....but huge profits means huge losses too ...and that can't be repayed that easily...hence Harshad took loans which is the public money...that's why Sucheta dalal could manage to expose him... because of his slipups... others did scam in a steady way...so there was hardly and leaks .....she is just a journalist...that's the best she can do...she can't barge in and stop or expose illegal activities of citi bank or bear gang....she needs proof and she got it from Harshad through which there will be pressure on government eventually leading to an investigation... that's all she can do... without proof she can't do anything...only Harshad activities was so easily exposable ...so the obvious choice was Harshad

There are a lot of people who treat Harshad Mehta as the protagonist and make Sucheta Dalal the villain of the story. When that's unnecessary... There is no need for anyone to be the villain or the protagonist in this show. In fact hating Sucheta Dalal is the height of stupidity... In a world of scams she is one of those few people of integrity trying to expose the scamsters.. just because Harshad Mehta is not a hateful person doesn't mean he is an entirely good fellow. The market crashed he caused, lost a lot of people their entire life savings and triggered suicides. So think of that when you treat him as the hero 😂😂😂. He is a grey character which was the best part of the show, to build such layered characters

It's extremely obvious that she had a hidden agenda which is why she never mentioned these people as the cogs of this huge scam. While the series is a beautiful portrayal and Pratik Gandhi has proved his mettle, Scam 1992 is what it is- a onesided uncovering of a historic scam

Some people here commenting, "if Sucheta didn't expose Harshad their would have been greater scams and economy would have shattered"...I mean seriously? Her whole approach to this was completely wrong. If she would have targeted banks more than Harshad, we wouldn't have had the Nirav Modi, etc. scams repeated. Harshad always gave much more return to his investors than promised, he was the perfect broker an investor could imagine. The market started going downward when she started publishing shit about Harshad and Harshad alone. He was in the market for many years and he constantly created value in the market. Fraudsters don't create value for that long, they just raise funds and elope suddenly. He was a genius with a different vision. He wanted to take Indian economy to an all new level. He might have succeeded if we didn't have vultures like Sucheta Dalal who destroy genius minds from middle class families and shelter scions of the dynasties.

Harshad was not a well wisher of people but himself. He used to take money from banks in return of securities and used to invest them in Share market so that the market prices go higher and once market used to go at such pace and reach big share prices, he used to sell all those invested shares at very very high prices. This used to lead retail investor's share prices very very low and ultimately market used to crash. This is the bottom line and summary of what Harshad Mehta used to do.

People are saying if sucheta was not there, harshad nhi fasta. They need to understand, she was just a puppet of bear gang. The real culprit is not sucheta, but bear gang. Agar sucheta nhi hoti toh koi aur hota

To all those people supporting Harshad Mehta and hating Suchita Dalal. Firstly, like they said in the series, any business - Any promise or deal you make more than the laws depends on trust. Just because the laws weren't there, he exploited the trust and morals of the trade. That influenced the creation of a lot of rules and regulations that made a lot of things difficult for future small time retailers and businessmen. It wasn't necessary if he just had a conscience. Just because you are smart doesn't mean you should use it wrongly. The big Bull was a fox who broke the morals of a system to impact the entire nation. This progressive influencing people to invest blindly into what he wanted also inflated a lot of companies much above what they were actually worth and sometimes fraudulent making the market like an air filled bag of kurkure. The RBI governor also says, the market can expand like that only when the economy is growing and otherwise it is just advertising on nonsense. Granted, it can't be blamed solely on him and an entire system of people and banks and other people are involved but that doesn't excuse him of being wrong. He was wrong and he was a criminal More importantly, Stocks are inflated, but the amount of money paid to buy said inflated stock is real. It is lakhs of Indians buying something for Rs85 when it's value was only 20. If even 10 lakh people invest in it, there is a profit of 6.5cr and when it comes to Government bonds and securities, they are all taxpayers money which effectively means all the crores of taxpaying Indians are investing in the product through the government. So imaging out of our 130 crore Indians, the value our government puts into say Amboney copper is equivalent to 10cr Indians paying Rs100 each for a product. Each person paying 100 might not seem much, but together it values Rs1000cr and if your company is valued only at 150cr, then 850cr rupees is going as a profit... And this 850cr you are using to further false advertise companies and put money into them. When you put in such a big sum of money, it'll seem like you are improving the market. But then again it's the same kurkure cycle only. Increasing exponentially on paper because other people who invest are really putting in their money either for profit or to see the country grow, the profit people will get profit, but with sub par low quality companies being invested upon, our country won't grow. Infact, because of this, more than loss of money, there will be hyperinflation and the Rupee value will go way down... That will destroy our country. Individual banks can't track this but the RBI will know but they can't do anything because it'll be like they are questioning and not having trust on other banks. They don't want to antagonize the other banks and especially foreign banks who pool in money into the system and economy and sometimes had to turn a blind eye because no government in power wants economy to go down. This is wrong too. But understandable. But this ensures that even if they know something is going wrong, they have to shut up and look like fools. It is all wrong. BUT IT IS REAL MONEY OF REAL PEOPLE EARNED WITH THEIR REAL HARDWORK, BLOOD AND SWEAT. THAT IS LITERALLY BEING THROWN INTO THE AIR BECAUSE OF THESE CRIMINALS. Use loopholes to do good. With great power comes great responsibility.
