glad to see a vira not scared to use their bp for once

Just realized they didn't use her install once. Their playstyle is pretty meter hungry lol.

Fairly interesting to watch because of this. I am left wondering tho why would you play vira if you aren't going to install. As she is basically a shoto without a fireball if you aren't installing.

Two things I learned watching this: 1. Do not use Luminari to try and reset the combo. It failed every single time. It's greedy and only exploits noobs. Higher players will survive the block string/DP/counter. 2. Do not use Luminari in neutral against Grimnir across stage (and this probably applies for a lot of the cast as well). My answer for problem 1 is just vary Vira's moves to keep the opponent guessing. Her 214M has a decent frame advantage, but can be punished prior to connection if the opponent is mashing and after connection if they're mashing L. For problem 2 always use 22H across stage and almost never against very quick characters. During her install, it is possible to be at the other end of stage, 22H+super jump+air jump and be in your opponent's face/combo if they don't block your aerial.

214M after connection is at least +2, they can't "punish" by mashing jab. That's not what punish means.

Kinda confused why they didn’t use install at all. Not that they needed it lol

I’m completely new to this fighter series. Is it safe to assume Nier is busted? Every video I see of top tier players, there is always a Nier lol. But great stuff nonetheless. Vira or Anila will be my main
