+Emma J Naval is something relating towards the Navy. The Navy is military based operations at sea, submarines and such, which Submarine was the title of the film he directed. So he basically just used the nerdiest and funnier way of saying "I'm worried people wont go to see my movie regardless of their interest in the navy" so Noel just likes the way he says things basically, I'm not british but I'm pretty certain thats what the joke was xD

Jimmy has a very moralistic stance on humor. Hes talked about it before in very serious tones, and he truly believes humor is important and healthy not matter what the subject, only intent truly matters. Their intent was clearly to make a dark joke and not to be mean.

I find it interesting that despite you wording it "water shower" my brain automatically corrected while reading to shower water. And the idea of a shower made out of water is just madness. I guess it could be done if the shower was made out of ice and the water was at a different temperature or pressure but can't imagine it lasting long. Plus thats and ice shower anyway, and not a water shower.

+Emma J Naval is something relating towards the Navy. The Navy is military based operations at sea, submarines and such, which Submarine was the title of the film he directed. So he basically just used the nerdiest and funnier way of saying "I'm worried people wont go to see my movie regardless of their interest in the navy" so Noel just likes the way he says things basically, I'm not british but I'm pretty certain thats what the joke was xD

Jimmy has a very moralistic stance on humor. Hes talked about it before in very serious tones, and he truly believes humor is important and healthy not matter what the subject, only intent truly matters. Their intent was clearly to make a dark joke and not to be mean.
I love how Noel's "Your mom" bit made Richard break character and had him actually smiling and laughing.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: I want a show where David Mitchell and Richard Ayoade are detectives who come in, examine crime scenes, deconstruct them hilariously, and then leave. To be clear, it is important that they never solve a case, just examine crime scenes in a hilarious manner.

And I love how when he starts talking everybody quiets and focuses on him to see what comes out of his mouth coz they know it's gonna be good 🤣 and it's peefect for his brand of comedy coz he needs all that time for the story set up. 😂😂😂

I find it interesting that despite you wording it "water shower" my brain automatically corrected while reading to shower water. And the idea of a shower made out of water is just madness. I guess it could be done if the shower was made out of ice and the water was at a different temperature or pressure but can't imagine it lasting long. Plus thats and ice shower anyway, and not a water shower.

Love Richard, but I couldn't get into the IT crowd because of the laugh track, so I've been watching him on panel shows like this one. I read something somewhere that when the IT Crowd was created, the role of Moss was literally created for Richard and that it was created because of the way he acts. So it really is him for the most part.

I watched submarine solely because he directed it and.... It's not his fault. But I felt the whole thing was just a weird coming of age story that was too bizarre for me. Like the kid wants to poison her dog so she'll get used to death in case her mom dies. Wtf.

A consummate comedian, his every expression, statement and inflection is hilarious. I have never seen him do anything which wasn't hilarious.

American TV is shit, too. Everything is too PC, and no one is allowed to laugh at anything, because everyone is so easily offended about everything. The only person you're literally allowed to take the piss out of is the President, but tbf, he makes it easy to do. Trying to do any type of comedy towards anyone else, forget it, it'll never get on TV.
