Love the Lancias. They look all business. No drama, no hijinks, just speed. The Stratos especially, but also the Scorpions.

Agreed. There's no rally without Lancia and Abarth. The HF Integrale still holds the 6 consecutive wrc champion record.... :D

The closest I ever got to a Stratos was restoring my 76 Scorpion. A far cry from a Stratos or even 037 but it was mine. So low to the ground you were afraid of getting road rash. And forget about talking to the passenger.

Kneedragon1962 Hehe It's funny you say that because I play a lot Gran Turismo and a never feel a need in have any rally car. And in the moment that I bought the first Stratos I fell in love and buy some of them to my garage and start a search to all that relates to Lancia Cars :)

geoff Sure nice sound..but the Ferrari motor in the Stratos, is just porn for the ears..LOL.. Btw A Stratos (as kitcar) is made in England and has a Alfa Romeo 3litre V6, sounds almost as good as the original..

Kalle Klæp it's funny in the 70's and 80's these cars sounded like this without the engineers purposely trying to do it they were just trying to squeeze every last bit of performance out of the engines. Compared to nowadays engineers spend countless hours on exhaust notes lol. I knew about the Ferrari motor but not the rest thanks for the info

geoff Yes indeed.. Those were the good old days,when exhaustemissions and fuelconsumption were only minor parts of the deal. Raw power..i love those Lancias from back the (even if the mechanics did not last as long as in german cars)..

Alfetta GTV... I think it is most uncompetitive car in this video. During '80s, It had been my car and I stil love it.

I love the Lancia 037s and the Alfa GTV6. The Opel Calibra was a nice touch but I'm surprised that there weren't any VW Golfs or Scirrocos.
