@@Steven_McCrae both with the first and second Escort, you can have 1600, 1800 and 2000 engines.. BDA or BDG is synonymous with Cosworth having fiddled with it. More revs, better sound and much better performance. The 1800 can do more revs, why I think it sounds better

Very few mk1 escorts being rallied nowadays, there are a few that take part in historics but parts and the cars rarety I would imagine is the main reasons for them not being as popular

Yes the calendar for the Welsh national rally championship is on their website if you keep scrolling down on their Home Screen and the BTRDA and British rally championship should also be visiting wales so just search them on Google. The 2022 calendar for here in Ireland should be on Motorsport Irelands website👍

That car has a livery inspired by the original works car in the mid 2000’s I’d imagine. All the cars on this video are from the 1980s right up to brand new 2021 cars
