@@rykehuss3435 Yeah but that Jack player had the round and he literally got hit by a wake super hadouken when he wasn't even close to him. These guys played kinda bad. Whoever, that Jack player was, should've won 3-1 tbh, he was punishing and he was getting hit by everything poongko did.

This is why namco backed out of namco x capcom.

Poongko is still the man. Coming from playing Tekken AND Street fighter respectively. I was thoroughly surprised that my Akuma was as good as he is and I just now found it out lmao! I can cancel like SF4 and all that. I'm all for more SF additions! Zangief, Balrog( or Dudley), Alex, Hugo man let's go so many options.

not so much, i think is pretty balanced cause of the new moves like the rage's art and drive and also cause the hadouken is blockable and avoidable, akuma is a really good character but of what i see from most gameplays seems pretty hard to play and more to master.

i guess you never played akuma in sf or even played sf itself. the only similar things about akuma in tekken and akuma in sf are the inputs of the fireballs, dps etc. thats it.

There was more characters before him, some of them wasnt actual fireballs , just beams as Evil Kazuya, Evil JIn, Angel and True Ogre. But actual fireballs where available too like with Jinpachi or now with Eliza. Akuma and Gesse are just most popular fireball users.

He wasn’t necessarily OP, but definitely powerful as hell.. The meta evolves over time and people understand it better. How do you think Melee players started devising anti-Fox tech, or Skullgirls players learning how to kick the shit out of a Cerebella whiffing her command throws when she was busted pre-Encore Edition, or SFV players learning how to deal with Chun-Li’s aerial pressure and Urien’s armored specials in conjunction with his stupid electric barriers, or the current DBFZ meta around kicking the crap out of easy combo using fighting game newcomers and making them learn how to play a MvC style fighter?

Nah SA is much better than Poongko was. Poongko was playing him as if it were street fighter, and doing a lot of stuff that would get punished nowadays. Awais and Atif are probably the best though.

Looking back at this from 2019, you can't doubt his good reflexes but watching the way Super Akouma plays now, Poongko got away with so much shit cause of no Akuma knowledge from these players. This is some really sloppy ass dead Akuma in a lot of these. I mean he freed up Knee for gods sake. Wouldn't happen now, that's why Poongko dropped Tekken.

So no one has beat this guy? c'mon he had to loose to someone

Etem Raik just shows how good a street fighter char fits in tekken. This is a good job from namco (street fighter x tekken is ass with this) Anyway I think he would get rekt pretty easily against the best ones. JDCR's heihachi for example would kill him no problem in my opinion, not to talk about knee...

Sorry but Streetfighter Players are far more skilled than Tekken players
