Best of Motorcycles at Festival of Speed 2019: 540hp Hayabusa, Ninja H2R, Norton Rotary, RC213V

This video is about the "Motorcycles Batch" of the 2019 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Great to see that big variety of 2-wheels beauties such as Marc Marquez's 2018 Honda RC312V MotoGP, some great sounding 2-strokes GP bikes, a 540hp Suzuki Hayabusa (that managed to reach a speed of 350 km/h on one wheel in 2017), the 2019 Moto2 Triumph, a Rolls-Royce 250-C20B turbine powered bike and two Norton JPS Works powered by a special twin-rotor Wankel engine. Hope you like it!

They freaking do. I drove the old rz 500 v4 and that beast felt like my r1 at low, mid and high revs. So much torque in small rubbers. Cheers.

That’s what gearing is for. Grab a higher gear keep the rpm down so you don’t make 500hp till you actually need to then hang on the world is going by by!

PrimiusLovin that is exactly why Ive avoided going to it at the request many times by my friends. To me it's complete bullshit . It's farcical in my opinion. But lots of people go and enjoy it so each to their own I guess. It's just not for me, it reminds me of a custom car boy racer car park meeting. If it was at a proper race track venue it would be awesome!

I can definitely say the naked with a jet/helicopter engine was the maddest. One gear, on tick over its does 80 mph and he had ride with the brakes on the whole time up the hill 🤯🤯🤯 plus it got the world record for a naked bike.
Hey you should do a vid on this awesome motorcycle museum in Solvang, CA. It has lots of historical racing bikes. Any gearhead would be in heaven there.

@@kconnaroe It's for back pressure. Two strokes really need it to make proper power and torque. All engines need some back pressure for a use able torque curve but two strokes need more.

A turboshaft engine is a form of gas turbine (which are also called jet engines) that is optimized to produce shaftpower rather than jet thrust. The term jet engine typically refers to an airbreathing jet engine such as a turbojet, turbofan, ramjet, or pulse jet. It's a jet engine derivative.
