I haven’t worked up the balls to go that shallow. I’m thinking I’ll need a land anchor. My mini has a winch and I’m typically solo. You guys rock

Thanks man! What size is your mini? Its great fun seeing how shallow they will go, definitely recommend some pushing poles, yeah solo trips can be a bit harder

The impellers take a bit of a beating for sure, get a few rivers out before they get rebuilt tho

Fark yeah awesome stuff, are you guys running the saco impellers they're really thick blades and you can get double row ones, they last a lot longer before they need building up. Cheers Richard

Im just running a solas, get quite a few rivers out of it before needs rebuilding. Keep a fresh one spare to swap out if needed

Yeah engines cooled by water through intake. Not sure how exactly, have a sand trap so stop junk etc getting through lines

How do you not suck in rocks being in that shallow of water?

How do y’all prevent sucking up rocks? I’ve got my jets skis sucked up rocks deeper than that?

Hey mate, in most cases a jet boat grill/grate has smaller gaps between rails whereas jet-skis have larger gaps. We still suck up smaller stones sometimes but larger ones get caught.

My kids are still very little to use them, got them for customers to use, however I’m wanting to build something together with my little boys. Father son’s time. Thank you for the advise

Alot of jet boat companies here in NZ sell these at many different stages from flat packed all the way to turn key. Another option is the market places selling second hand finished builds 👍🏼 Hull kits can start from $4,000 and up depending on boat size etc
