TO this day every day I type on the computer and make a Chico pointing at the last note playing the piano reference. Love the Marx brothers' Italian and Jewish.

The Cocoanuts programme went out with a misprint of his name, which was supposed to be Chicko. You may notice that’s how Groucho pronounces his name. He was alleged to have been very successful with the ladies, which is why he had the Italian accent…as it he was such a Romeo. Chico is a nonsensical moniker compared to the names of his brothers. Groucho was grouchy and Harpo played the harp. Chico was a typo.

They were all brilliant musicians in their own right. Groucho is brilliant on the banjo and must have been a huge influence to Earl Scruggs.

@@larrylewis5721 Good idea, however my low budget techs, probably could not erase the dialog without affecting Chico's piano music which is the basis for this art film. Besides, that was a year ago and they are likely back to playing with Duplos ®by now. Duck Soup was their BEST but a flop when first released in '33.

To everyone commenting how funny these guys were together and separately, and would still be today, please watch Letterman, Conan, Stewart, Colbert, then watch Robin Williams, Jim Carrey, Zach Galifianakis, etc. Then let us all know how they compare.

@@allan9603 LMAO. They are actually REAL legends. If you put Groucho up against any one of those guys head-to-head on late-night, stand up, or in a movie Groucho would be f****** stomped. Now I KNOW you Groucho fans are a bunch of hysterically delusional derps. Groucho was a pioneer nothing more nothing less. Haven't you seen his TV interviews? He has occasional funny comments, but he's so boring that you change the channel. I just watched a special on Carrie Fisher, even SHE'S funnier than Groucho. Get a life.

Yeah the marx brothers are leagues above modernity. All the people you listed did not create anything, only adapted that which came before them, which was the marx brothers. Never mind the fact everyone you listed loves groucho, Chico and harpo

@@blueytwoey Also, most of what the well-known performers in that age did was either stolen from other acts or adapted from comedies written hundreds of years before that. So, even your heroes were not that original. Have you ever heard of the 12 stories?? Every story written today is based on a variation of those original 12 stories. Please don't sit there and try to claim the Marx brothers invented all this stuff other people have just copied in modern day. The Marx brothers were silly and simple, the entertainers today are so advanced that Groucho isn't even ranked in the top 200 of all time.

Absolute childish work. And the painted on mustache is distracting and makes him look insane. This comedy is best for children, but apparently adults back then were into this?? Embarrassing......😔

@@danieljamar5639 LOL. Adults that are over 80 years old, or ones that were brought up forced to watch him as children and he brings back memories of their simple-minded childhoods. High IQs? Based on what data? The high IQ people I know think he's lame. My idea of a great comedian? WTF is wrong with you?? Every decade from the 70s to the 2020's have had multiple comedians that destroyed Groucho Marx on every level. Jonathan Winters, Richard Pryor, Robin Williams, Bob Newhart, Eddie Murphy, David Letterman, Jackie Martling, Jon Stewart, Jim Carrey, Ricky Gervais, Bill Burr, Drew Carey, and so many, many more that make Groucho Marx look like an amateur. Are you 95 years old?? He was a pioneer in the 30s-40s, but by the 80s he was totally eclipsed and irrelevant.
