Even if it turns out they aren’t “real”… they FEEL real. It’s palpable. The foundation of their connection/bond is and has always been emotional which is why most of us that FEEL they are real, are more emotional and therefore(in most cases) are emotionally aware/mature. For me it’s never been about skinship, or the matching clothes, or sharing a car. They have such a deep almost co-dependent connection that they can sense each other and will do whatever they can to support each other. Jungkook is a natural protector and he shows his love by consistently protecting Jimin(which makes Jimin softer). Jimin gives Jungkook comfort so he can be his naturally emotional self without judgment(gives him balance and courage to be unapologetically himself and space to grow). Whatever relationship they have… it is so beautiful to watch. No matter if it’s romantic love or platonic. Jikook is real because their love is real…however they choose to define it.

The thing I love most about jikook is the emotional connection they have. They don't even need to say anything and will just understand each other. Their relationship is soo beautiful💜

my fave part of their emotional bond is when one of them is anxious or stressed and somehow the other knows right away and does this special thing to comfort them. JM would rub JK's chest or touch him to let him know he's there when he's worried and JK knows how JM needs words to be reassured. i just love that abt them ♡
