Hillclimbing has become my new favourite form of motorsport - challenging tracks, beautiful scenery and insane cars!

The sound of a naturally aspirated engine singing in high revs gives me the satisfaction that top end engeneering of engines still rules.

The Judd V8 has to be one of the best sounding engines ever made.

If I won the lottery I’d just keep the Altima I have now for a daily and buy a Judd v8 for my 64.5 mustang fastback (289 needs replacement, hasn’t cranked in 40 years). I am obsessed with platform, and that would pretty much keep me satisfied for the rest of my life as far as cars go.

F1 is over. The new formula is grass roots Hill Climb. It is modern golfers era Rally and THE MOST EXCITING auto racing by a landslide. Many great drivers, engine builder as, mechanics and geographic locations will be discovered this way. Bringing racing back to the people, the way they want it. Raw

Yea, you know they drive better, because you've driven all these cars AND F1's, so you can compare them. And you also know that race cars only compare to each other based on sound. That's the only thing that matters. That's why F1 sucks, you know there's a problem with F1 because you don't like how they sound through your 2 dollar headphones, because you never heard an F1 car in person. Ignore the fact that they're the fastest and most amazingly engineered and built race cars in the world. Dumb ass. F1 is a completely different sport. It's about pushing the limits of engineering. That's why it takes an IQ a bit higher than yours to appreciate it. People who just want loud engine noise should attach an exhaust of a lawnmower to their ear and listen to it all day long.

These "bespoke/one off" widebody kits made for these hillclimb cars have always looked so badass/nasty/aggressive/threatening and give actual aero performance. Its always been my favorite style on a car. Its been my dream to create a body kit business inspired by the square'ish/hard lined wideboddy looks of all these Hillclimb Monsters/90s DTM/TCR cars/Rally Cross Cars, etc). I think you get what I mean. I want to bring this style and aero performance to all sorts of cars (starting with just a few select cars at first just like Kei Miura did before he expanded) and just leave my little stamp on car culture with my visions that people could put on there cars proudly. i've been working hard and slowly saving for the equipment to hopefully make it possible. I know CAD, Solidworks, Fusion 360, 3DSMAX, Inventor, etc.) which are modelling softwares and have already taken 3D cars models and built kits inspired like these on the PC for Car Mods in Assetto Corsa and Renderings but the car models are not based off real world measurements nore do they have the modelled the spots where fenders, hood, skirts, bumpers, etc) would attach correctly if at all. I would need to source a 3D scanned car accurate to the sub mm precision and possibly all the pieces mentioned prior to work off of or purchase a scanned model and go from there. Then 3D Model a kit on it, then "Blank", and start making master molds but I cant share my secret :). I know people would love to make their street car or race car have a style like these and no one ever creates their own "bespoke/one off" body kit unless they've invested years into a passion project and hand made it, hired someone, work with a team. etc). I state enough how much I love wide body kits (The right type/style can make almost any car look good) especially this style. But, I'm not a fan of Kei Miura's Rocket Bunny/Pandem "Hotboy" style of widebody kits. There just not my thing, I think they look ugly most the time, but there's a few with his kits that look good, imo. I just want to bring this style to the masses and let the average car enthusiast be able to make his street car look like a different with this type of flare because no one is making kits like these and I know the people would love them. I know you all do! and I bet you would love to make your car look like one of these! Hopefully the car will have some performance to back up the look too you'll just ruin it like the days of 2000s body kits, reupholstered interiors, cut springs, and no performance. So look out for my kits in the next few years! I'll get there. The names Allan R.

The BMW was Georg Plasa. It had a V8 Judd engine. Unfortunatly he died after an accident with that car during a Hillclimb event in Italy 2011. 😢

The bmw's look and sound like monsters. The Alfa is the sexiest though

I can proudly say I have seen and heard the slk in hillclime race

These races deserve so much more then static camera by the road. Add few acrobatic drones with proper pilots, some onboard cameras and good montage and you'd have gem to watch, better than F1. These short clips convey more drama, emotion and excitement than most of the F1 races.
