Essential RC, the next time you see the owner of that Vulcan. Give him my Suggestion for that wonderful plane. He really needs to add one or two amplified speakers to the bottom of that aircraft (if needed you can always cover the speaker holes with white spandex for the greatest sound transmission as well as being able to completely hide any changes in the looks, which is utmost important). then load some audio of the famous Vulcan Howl to SD. Then the next time everyone stops what they are doing, just to watch his Vulcan Fly. and let him fly for a minute or so, then fly over the runway, and get it nice and slow, and flip a switch to have it play the Vulcan Howl on those speakers (over the sound of the Jet engines). AND YOU WILL SEE THE MOUTH'S DROP BY ALL ATTENDING! (Everyone else is thinking it... lol) And thank you for a great channel !

wow! what beasts 8.30 & 24.00. the beautiful vulcan at 14.00 looks like the real thing; realistic take off, flight and landing...superb control.. what a joy to watch. congratulations!

Amazing how much they sound like the real thing.

The VC-10 was a beautiful looking aircraft. I remember as a child watching them fly over my parents house thinking they were like something out of 'Thunderbirds' :)

What an awesome display of the wonderful Vulcan and her pilot (Dave Johnson). For the Fokker 70 I could almost be forgiven for thinking I was watching the real thing given the tender and graceful way in which this aircraft conducted herself in response of the pilot on the ground in front of the adoring crowds gazing on in awe. My favorite here would have to be that gorgeous Stearman flown by Ludo Luyten that I could have watched all day long and how about that amazing General Electric, WOW! It would seem here that most aircraft were in the capable hands of the talented Dave Johnson.

OK, call these people what you will - geeks, nerds, anoraks or whatever but, you know what, these incredible enthusiasts are the sort of individuals who live into their 80s and 90s and do you know why - because they've always got something to get up for - unlike those who jeer at them who you'll find mute and dribbling next to a window in a care home within just a few years of retiring. I've never owned an RC anything but watching this is uplifting - no pun intended : )

The Corsair is gorgeous! I was amazed at the Vickers VC-10, especially when it was in flight! Looks like the full-scaled 'prototype!' Incredible replicas... ALL OF THEM!

Miniature gas turbines have been around for years. Cheap they ain't, but if you're serious about your hobby, they're the business.

Just found your amazing and enjoyable vids. Thanks for sharing. Just want to say, the Corsair's pilot must have nerves of steel. He never batted an eyelid all during his flight. Me? I'd have been holding onto the overhead for dear life.

Even if I had the money to get into this hobby I don't think I have the talent to fly one of these. This is definitely not for your average hobbyist. I love it.

After Concorde, in its category I must admit the VC10 is beautiful. Best aircraft is Carreidas three engines in 'flight 714 for Sydney' by Hergé (technically drawn by Jean Leloup) ... 😊

Very emotional stuff, so many memories = "VC10 -Addict ! " :)

The VC10 is a beautiful aircraft and it was wonderful to see her handled so gracefully obviously in the hands of a talented pilot (Dave Johnson) and yes I did say pilot as one does pilot these awesome works of love and dedication from the ground.

Like flying (in) a real plane, the most nerve wracking part is taking off and landing !

Love the Vulcan! Saw the real thing perform (in camo) several times at Abbotsford Airshow.

That Corsair is a replica of the VMF 312 squadron that was based on Okinawa in 1944. Plane number 530 was the aircraft flown by 1st LT Merritt O. "Mo" Chance of Wisconsin. Does anyone know who flies that RC?

That was my uncle's squadron also, 1st LT Robert R. Klingman. He received the Navy Cross for action during 1944 on Okinawa.

The VC-10 and Vulcan were awesome! The Vulcan looked like it handled the wind better and had more convincing scale speed and handling, especially when landing!

I love watching the propellers when they first start up & how they appear to be doing all sorts of weird shit! They look like they're bending & wrapping around the front of the plane, or not moving, or moving backwards. It's pretty cool. The very first one they showed was like that.

That BOAC is absolutely amazing, but it lands like a FedEx MD11!

@@bruzote yeah while they sit around living off someone else and bitching about everything they see or hear, just the average troll , they find every video they can and fuck with everyone about things they know nothing about. a hobby is a waste of time in some ways? i look at it different, every time i see someone doing something, like these people, or kids roping calfs or cows, or raising animals, playing tennis or on a swim team, bicycling etc, it makes me think for just a moment that maybe the world has a chance, because most of what we see or hear about is the pitiful ignorant worthless shit bags playing at gangstas and hip hop shit with their fucking pants around their knees and their nasty ass drawers showing spewing filth from their mouths, the get it from the trash that makes up most of the population in todays generation, so this or any hobby is music to my ears.

Vulcan is a perfect landing! Bravo!

I’d say this, as much as these planes are awesome in design and I do appreciate seeing this type of content, I also have to say these pilots are rough on the edges, I’ve watched many rc videos still available on KZread and the takeoff and landing is flawless

While I’d usually agree - if you can hear the wind noise on the camera I’d guess the Corsair was being moved around involuntarily quite a lot. There’s no way to make a scale landing in a heavy crosswind look good.

That bouncy landing by the BOAC plane reminds me of a similar landing 30-40 years ago after which time the female flight attendant went on the PA system and announced that Captain Kangaroo will now bounce us to the terminal.
