I love the e revo and I still have it to this day it’s such a shame these went out of production and watching this five years later it really just makes you remember of the good old days and the legendary E Revo

I don't have a revo (yet), but I do have a Bigfoot no.1, a 4wd lowered slash, and I used to have a 2wd slash, which now feeds it's parts to the other two trucks. all three have been amazing! thank you, and keep up the good work, Traxxas.

Same here. I loved the older brushless editions since I was a kid. Bought one right before the e-revo 2.0 came out a few years ago. I wasn't even mad when the newer model came out. I even bought some 2.0 tires/wheels but only used them a few times before I swapped back to the Talon Tires. Can't beat how timeless the older style is.

@@rctrucks2094 personally I love mine but they did update the diffs on the newer models. It wouldn't take much to buy a newer one and swap the body and tires/wheels so you have the stronger diffs

That's your opinion. The fact is, that I'm changing a lot of original components with RPM stuff - my 1/16 e-revo VXL is fully tuned and I am very satisfied. It goes like hell, it's stable and pretty damage resistant. Well, and the fun factor is, TOP! I'll do the same with my new big e-revo brushless. And, by the way - I'm not wrong at all.

PLEASE go do some research and look at the Arrma Kraton before you buy the ERevo!!! It will save you money and you will have A lot more fun. It's the best out of the box basher there is.

Arrma Kraton. It's like an ERevo, except it's SUPER SUPER TOUGH. Does everything better AND it's much cheaper!!! I LOVE mine, wanted the ERevo until I started doing research and learning about things. This is one of the best videos i have ever seen with RC's though!!!

Raymond Newbill the arrma fazon is a E revo in tank form it's got the same type of suspension and all so has there so called diff brain it is way better built and never breaks

I love Traxxas so much! My First RC Car was from tamiya and it was Trash! Then i bought the teton 100€ cheaper but 1000 Times better! Thanks to you Traxxas for your great and awesome Work!

The E-Revo is one of those trucks where you don't really have to mod it to have fun. I'm not saying that the E-Revo is the only fun stock RC, I'm just saying that some people think you always need something like a mamba and aluminum and carbon fiber everything to have RC fun.

PastaLimit Buy an Arrma Kraton. It's only $430 and tower hobbies will let you do payments. It's the ERevo competitor except it performs a lot better and it's STILL WAY WAY tougher!!! Takes crazy hits that would destroy an ERevo and it just keeps going. Look them up and do some research. You won't be disappointed. Make sure you get the newer V2 though. First ones had a few ESC issues. Oh AND they have the BEST warranty in the business. 2 freaking years!!! They do that because they know their rigs are tough as hell.

Raymond Newbill The only difference between it and the e Revo is that the Kraton looks way boxier and uglier(In my opinion). I have a 1/16 e revo VXL and I've had absolutely no issues with it except for the common plastic 1/16 servo issue where it chips teeth, which I fixed easily by just getting a metal servo off amazon for about $20. Id take the e revo VXL every time, plus its roughly the same price, just smaller and lighter as its 1/16 vs 1/8. That's just my opinion though. The Kraton to me looks more like an ECX, which aren't known to be very fast or very good... I also just noticed that(I believe) it doesn't come with a battery or charger, whereas the E Revo VXL comes with a 6 cell 1200mah NiMH battery(That doesn't sound like much run time, but remember, it's a 1/16. It can run for about 20-30 minutes on it, AND you can put two of them in there). idk. This is just my opinion. Please don't kill me. Edit 1: Changed e Reno to e revo. Autocorrect is a jerk.

I had no big problems with the 1/16 either other than the servo, though I never did do big air jumps. Did break one arm link other than the servo, but those things happen. As I don't bash all that much I converted it into a Slash for driving on an 1/10 indoor track, great fun even with low grip (hard to find fitting indoor tires, there's touring car tires but then there's not much damping due to the thin inserts etc - for that track on offroad cars yellow Mini Pins are the goto tire). But there's always to option of converting back, for bashing the Revo config is naturally better. Can't speak for the bigger Revo, could be a fun car. But truth be told for a bigger monster I might go HPI, I have a nitro Savage SS 4.6 that I'm hoping to get into running condition this week after 2,5 years of sitting on the shelf after I got it (used). A Savage with a HPI Grave Robber body is just the coolest monster look I've seen - though an E-Maxx with the Grave Robber body looks very cool too. If I did get a big Traxxas, it'd likely be either the E-Maxx, or if money wasn't a concern at all the X-Maxx which from my understanding is very very sturdy even as stock. Problem is I'd have no means of transporting something that big! But even the Revo/E-Maxx might be too big for my carry bag, the Savage fits just barely with wheels taken off.
