He was also telling the other driver (as if he can hear him in a closed car) can you not see the sign! So after living in Amsterdam for 30 years its not always good vibes and chilled out people. I have been driving for more than 2 years in the Netherlands and I haven't seen more relaxed people while driving anywhere else, and so respectful, that is why they don't have incidents in traffic, what you see in this video is light incidents compared to other countries. Love to drive here.

+DutchTimeGames Technically there's nothing illegal about that (well, unless you count him being rammed to the left side of the refugee island). It was just incredibly dumb. That being an understatement. Also, given by the fact that the original video was removed (not before giving me permission to use it though :)) I think it's safe to say the guy was found guilty (and rightly so) even though for some reason he was convinced he was in the right...

At about the 4:00 minute mark, I believe the truck with trailer cuts in front of the obviously drunk driver who has gotten on the sidewalk in order to cut him off and stop him. Good job. All in all, fascinating to see how civilized driving is in Netherlands. We had the pleasure of spending two days in Amsterdam, three years ago, on a trip across northern Europe, and hope to go back and spend more time. Loved it. Hard to beat stuff like the Van Gogh museum and the Rijksmusem, and the new restaurant at the museum with emphasis on local cuisine and food.

Valt wel mee hoor. Maar ja, wel meer regen dan bijvoorbeeld in Spanje of zo. Ligt er aan waar je nu woont. De reden dat deze video veel clips heeft waar het regent, is omdat er dan veel ongelukken gebeuren. In werkelijkheid scoren we constant warmte-records. De afgelopen Maart dagen waren de warmste Maart dagen ooit gemeten. :) Geef het nog een jaartie of 20 en we hebben hier een Middellands Zee klimaat. Nou ja, de helft van ons land, want de andere helft ligt dan onder water.

It might look absolutely ridiculous, but it's actually common practice for car drivers to do that. If you don't do it, you even run the risk that you can't proof with certainty that the damage you suffered is from that accident.

Such roads and junctions in Ireland would have a solid white line or ghost island painted on the road well before the divider island. No overtaking allowed typically 100 meters back from such junctions.
