    I think Rob really cemented why he’s a legend. Given the fact that he was SO close to getting a foothold in the game despite EVERYONE knowing you can’t give Rob any leverage. He early on exposed the weaknesses of guys like Adam and Ben and had some great moments on extinction. • @aidanpfeifer5247

    @aidanpfeifer5247

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@patapon646 I truly think Rob was screwed the moment he drew the Yara buff. He was left on a tribe with absolutely nobody who he could trust, and Rob was not the main cause of that distrust. Adam betrayed him when he tried to vote out Rob's ally Parvati, and Adam revealed in a reddit AMA that the majority alliance on Sele was him, Rob, Parvati, Ethan, and Denise, so Adam betrayed his own alliance he had with Rob, so Rob isn't to blame for that. Regarding Ben, Rob has stated on an Instagram live with Michele and on his twitch channel that he actually wanted to work with Ben and pulled him aside on Sele to work together. However, Ben was way too paranoid and didn't want to work with Rob at all, despite Rob offering an olive branch. This lines up with what other people in the game said about Ben (Nick, Jeremy, Adam), with him being too stubborn, paranoid, and hard to work with, whereas numerous people have said good things about Rob postgame (Michele, Adam, Yul, Wendell). This points towards Ben being the reason for his and Rob's failed relationship instead of it being Rob's fault. Furthermore, Rob and the girls have instant distrust between each other before they even meet. This is because on the girls side, Sandra on Dakal has spread so much bad things about Rob, how he is a liar and untrustworthy since he didn't tell her he was on the season (despite there being a logical answer to this, as Rob has admitted that he didn't tell her since that would have been pregaming and Rob didn't want to pregame). What Sandra said about Rob lines up with the general perception of Rob as a player, which is that he is a snake and untustworthy, so they are immediately not going to be trusting of Rob. Then, on Yara, you have Ben who is saying pretty much the exact same things about Rob (which we have just covered about it being more of Ben just not wanting to work with Rob for whatever reason despite Rob wanting to work with Ben), so the girls are "verified" in their assumption of Rob that he is untrustworthy, despite them never interacting with Rob until now. Then, regarding Rob, he has every right not to trust Sarah and Sophie, and that is because, in Rob's eyes, Dakal is after him since Amber and Tyson were voted out back to back. Rob knows he is coming into the game with the biggest target on his back, so he is expecting people to come after him right out of the gate. He also knows that he has friends and people who he personally knows on the season, so he expects if people aren't able to go after him, they are going to go after the people he is connected with as a way to weaken him.Therefore, when Amber is voted out, Rob is expecting that, since nobody wants a pair in the game. However, when Tyson is voted out immediately after Amber, that sends alarms to Rob, because why would Dakal vote out one of their best challenge performers and a guy who will provide for them if there wasn't some ulterior motive, with that motive being to hurt Rob. Because of all of this, Rob has every right not to be trusting of Sarah and Sophie. So, there is distrust between Rob and everyone on the tribe, despite Rob not being the central cause of that distrust, meaning he won't be able to create good relationships within the tribe so he will be relegated to the bottom and voted out. Adam and Sophie have both confirmed that the plan to vote out Rob was put in place before the Buddy System even happened, which meant Rob was screwed before then. This is why I don't hold the Buddy System against Rob, because he was already going home and he needed to try something to garner trust with himself and Adam and Ben. The Buddy System was used as a way for Rob, Adam, and Ben to gain trust with each other, because if Rob showcases to Adam and Ben that he is cutting ties with Sarah and Sophie by not talking to them, he is showcasing to Adam and Ben that he is putting all of his trust within their hands. Furthermore, if Adam and ben do the same thing, thereby completing the Buddy System, it showcases to Rob that they are putting their trust in his hands. This would create a circle of trust between the three, which would then allow them to vote together as a bloc without worrying about the others. Rob has nothing to lose at this point, since if he does nothing, he is going to be voted out regardless. The point is, Rob was screwed from the get go when he drew the Yara buff, which means the Buddy System wasn't a dumb move because he was going home regardless and he has to try something to gain trust.

    Nope, Danni got paranoid because Parvati was not talking to her. After Rob told Parvati that Danni was gunning for her, Parvati could have gone and talked to Danni, but she did not. If anything Rob screwed it up for the old school in Sele since he is the one who drew the line. When Adam offered to play with him, Rob refused and then got Ethan screwed. If Rob were a good player, he would know the social aspect is really important and he would have tried to get along with everyone on his tribe, but he did not, which is why Ben was sick of him. It is Rob's fault he got voted out. They had the numbers when they did the tribe swap, but he had been rude to Adam and Ben and paid the consequences. Yul got voted out for getting greedy and expecting Wendel's foretoken if Michelle or Nick ended up with it. Sandra got voted out because she got greedy and showed she wanted foretokens for her immunity idol rather than wanting to play with Denise. Amber got voted out because of her connection to Rob, like Natalie got voted out because of her connection to Jeremy. Tyson got voted out because he was targeting people even when they were not going to tribal council. Parvati got voted out because she was on the wrong side of the numbers and could not flirt with anyone.

    I honestly think Rob played a great game. He was able to get Sele to not target him or parv at that first tribal which is impressive in itself. They were such easy votes but they avoided that. Then at the second one they he did that emptying the bag thing at tribal which was awesome. He still carried his tribe in challenges. When he lost Ethan, it was because another player was actively trying to keep him. If they had just kept with those original tribes for a bit longer, they would’ve gotten rid of Adam, then Denise. So I think he’d be good to go. If Denise used her idol, Parv will probably go home and not rob. So if they had just kept with those original tribes, he’d be good for the merge

I felt bad for Lauren O'Connell when she passed out during the immunity challenge on Day 22, because she could barely keep the rice down and she had not won a single reward challenge up til that point because she was stuck on that ill fated Lesu Tribe. But i admire Lauren's social game aligning with Kelley Wentworth and Wardog DaSilva in the beginning and then working herself into the majority kama alliance thanks to bonding with Julie Rosenberg. It's too bad that Lauren fell for Chris Underwood's trap in which she misplayed her hidden immunity idol on him wasting the safety net that she had and then Underwood and Rick Devens voting her out at the final five because she was too much of a threat to win. Hopefully Lauren will each get a second chance at Survivor in the future. Rob really is a mob boss the way he talked to Ben and Danni, it was honestly awesome to watch how methodical he was. He knew Danni was a goner in that moment, but wanted to make her feel comfortable. And he knew he couldn't trust Ben the moment they had that conversation where he asked Ben for more insider info. It was also really cool to see Rob be endearing with Michele.

    Sandra won twice, she was chose twice after the final immunity game, Russell and the army lady control the game. Tony won twice, he played fantastic games, but also the first time he should thank Woo’s choice, the second time he should thank the new fire competition rules. However, Rob won only once, but he played the best game ever. The first time he control the tribe but lose because of the regroup, the second time he loose because other people hate his wife less, the fourth time he played the best game ever. The fifth time he loose only because people treat him as the largest target and didn’t want to play with him. For me Rob is the GOAT of survivor.

    I love Rob but y’all are hopeless fanboys. Rob played garbage this game and let me down big time. We saw Tony adapt and simmer down his normal play style when he had too. Rob had an opportunity to go further in the game if he lets go of control. He always has to have control no adapting. Anyone could see his alliance was on the bottom when Adam extended an olive branch, but he took that avenue and burned roads with himself and others. If he backseats for Adam for a few episodes until he’s safe he can re gain control I knew it was all over for him when he tried to take matters into his own hands. And honestly I was glad Adam got to vote him out. Poetic justice. He sunk adams game so Adam got to drag him down with him. He treated this cast like they were all stupid rookies and they showed him up.

Danni was accused of going through Jeremy’s bag too so there was lot that was being pinned on her because she was the one that everyone could agree on and is why the old-schoolers decided to betray her besides the fact that she was not in their pre-game alliance.
