On one hand, I could look at it like, The newbies were idiots for not getting rid of him. You yelling at the screen being like “WHY GRANT AND NOT ROB AT FINAL 6”. But in another way, u could look at it as this guy played one of if not the most strategic game Survivor has ever seen. Better than Cochran.

This is the only reason why I don't hate Redemption Island. Rob isn't just a really good player, but he has amazing on-screen charisma. It's just fun to listen to him explain his game and having fun with it. If he wasn't there, this season would've been a trainwreck. Well, a worse one.

This was the most dominant performance in the history of the show. Haters be damned, idc. He literally controlled every aspect of the entire game from start to finish. He dominated the game physically, socially and strategically. People can argue that he was a fourth timer against newbies all they want but truth is that it was just as much of a disadvantage as it was an advantage. He was playing against people who knew his game and he went into it blind to theirs. He was also playing against people who absolutely did not want a returnee to win the game under any circumstance. This was proven when a challenge was thrown just to send Russell home early in the season. Rob realized that the newbies didn't want him to win, and he was able to turn on the social charm to not only stay in the game but gain complete control. The most amazing thing about this entire season was that Rob realized that the newbies were sooo against a returnee winning that he would not only have to get himself to the final tribal to win, he would also have to drag the two weakest and most disliked players to the end with him because anyone else would probably beat him. And guess what? He actually accomplished that. Do people who hate on Rob understand the difficulty level of that?

For a number of reasons, but just for starters she took the 2 toughest opponents to the end, while Rob took the 2 biggest goats in the whole game, who couldnt have won against a single person. Russell Hantz or Julie Wolfe would have even won over Phillip and Natalie. Ashley, Andrea, Grant all do better than Rob did against them, they all win 9-0-0 vs the 8-1-0 Rob had to settle for. Sabrina wins against everyone but Kim but Kim took her anyway since she knew she could beat anyone and did handily.

Robertson Mirvish You literally just explained why Rob's game was better. Rob had to get to the end AND he had to carry the only two people he could beat to the end with him. Which severely increases the level of difficulty.

I don’t understand how any survivor fan can hate this season. It was the best individual performance the game has ever seen. Every part of the game was masterful and beautiful.

How can you hate a predictable season with 2 hard players, one which is sabotaged very early on? Boston Rob's a fucking asshole and seeing him get handed $1 million over a bunch of lemmings is not good television. The highlight was when Hantz got voted off, and that was only a few episodes in. Oh, and the ENTIRE FUCKING SEASON Phillip was there squawking like a black Coach on steroids. How can any fan of Survivor LIKE this season?

I love Rob’s confessional after he wins the final immunity challenge. You can tell that he really does love Amber. It may have started on an island, but it was true love for them.

Rob deserved it. This game is not about making friends and being nice to each other. Most who play cant wrap their brains a true winner who played the best strategic game and the person that may of just be nice to you. Any sensible person who may of got blindsided for someone should not vote based on their saltiness but how they got outplayed and fooled.

That's because the next word he said started with a vowel. In most Boston dialects, the "r" at the end of a word serves as a bridge between the two words. Otherwise he'd be saying "Ambuh and I" which is an awkward combination of sounds that doesn't come naturally in American dialects.

that buddy system was brilliant lol , he had his players in check 24/7 and always knew the conversations they were having lol, he was never out of the loop and that’s how he won , you can hate this season but you can’t deny he was a triple threat physical,mentally, and socially , he deserved that win. one of the most savviest sole survivor.

This season truly lived up to it’s name

People hate on this season, but I feel like that’s just because Rob OWNED IT so well that it seemed like he was the only one playing. People say it was a cake walk for him... I say he made it a cakewalk for himself. And it wasn’t even a cakewalk, I mean he almost died after one of the last immunities😂 Probably the greatest single season ever played.

Buck Buchman He didn't have to work harder. If Phillip isn't there, Rob loses this game. Honestly he took 100% of the target off Rob's back by being a fucking manchild asshole lunatic. The most work Rob had to do was make sure Phillip didn't get voted out too early and from Day 1 he created the power alliance with a bunch of starstruck rubes.

I still get chills every time I watch that season! One of the best for sure. Boston Rob was unstoppable. He played them all like an easy fiddle!

Rob is one of the most clutch players of all time. Social game and strategy can only take you so far. Those comp wins when he needed them most? Uncanny.

This season proved Rob is the best player to play this game. It was a joy to watch how he controlled the game so smoothly. It was so impressive The man himself Russell shook his hand at the reunion. Even Russell was impressed!!

Rob couldn't predict the future rather or not he and Amber would play again. The fact he gave a meaningful response that's he needs take care of Amber and daughters convinced the jury he deserved to win.

I still remember when survivors set the show up just for a rob to win with like the worst Is fellow players that.. I loved watching the show. Then rewatched it and couldn't believe it. They absolutely loved rob... And had to have him win eventually.

I enjoyed reliving that.he was brilliant💙

I think people hate this season so much just cuz rob is so convincing to people and such a good player

All Russell had to do was say no to the dare Rob made at the HvV reunion and this season never would have been.

Actually it was supposed to be Russell vs richard hatch but hatch couldn't get visa to leave country

I get the season was boring since there was only one real strategist, but Rob had the best played game ever. And I love this season for his playing ability.

yes a game you lose a jury vote to 9 of the 11 people who made the merge, and the only 2 you can beat are the 2 biggest goats in history, is a perfect game.
