No but sex scenes written by men kill me 💀💀 I once read one where he put his hand down her pants and he said. “I felt hair. I was surprised that it was prickly and scratchy like mine. I always thought girl’s hair would be soft, like a bunny rabbit.” 💀💀

5:37 this is one of the most amazing books I’ve ever read. It’s super short, I read it in one sitting. It’s called “Our Wives Under the Sea” and it’s by Julia Armfield

5:40 this is why you have character profiles😆😆 I don’t even write, I wish I could, but I always get writers block. But yeah i’m pretty sure it would be helpful in these situations when you have to describe something about a character that you can’t remember

11:22 Same tho. I'm currently working on the last book of my series (5 books total), the final draft for the first in the series so I can begin the process of getting an editor, and about 10 novellas set within the same universe that I eventually want to compile. Also did I mention that I'm writing AU fanfic for my own characters...? 😅

I work in a bookstore and I have seen The Remnents series at our YA section, but I had no idea it was a prequel to a popular booktok book. I have thought a couple of times that maybe I should check out The Remnant series. Maybe this is a sign😂

My biggest fear that actually happened before: I'm at the library, browsing new books like an average bookworm. I pick up one with a cool cover, catchy name, certain genre vibes and nice summary at the back. I open it, I read a few pages/chapters. I decide to look it up. I find out it's the third book in a trilogy that starts with the villain POV. Once I read an entire book then found out it was book 2 in the series and now I can't read book 1 because I know everything that happened. Can you relate?
