Brad from Low Light Innovation stopped by to give us an overview of the new LLI MH-1 and all of the sweet features. This thing is impressive!

The last time I held a Nocturne, it was one that somebody had snapped a pod on by putting it down on a table. Thank god there's people out there that actually know how to design a housing.

That sucks. This housing is a game changer!

@moustache6622 the bugs are worked out. Consider this a game changer.

I'm more interested in hearing how they plan to fix the current/on going issues with the MH-1 design/release (issues with wiring, board, knobs, the open recall etc.)... Would be more useful than hearing about features they plan to offer at some-point down the road eventually, hopefully they make customers act as their beta-testers again like they're doing with the MH1.

Also, as an "FYI" the real-world weight on a calibrated scale with MIL-SPEC lens comes in at 20.01oz fully setup (carson lens, image intensifier tubes, and of course a battery)

You mean the fixed issues? They're shipping fixed units back to customers. Additionally, to your weight question, if you're using the heaviest possible "MiL sPeC" lenses on the market, then your 'calibrated' scale will show 20 oz.

@@Sooprazn LOL, no... Many of the so-called "fixed" units are having to be sent back out for yet more fixes & troubleshooting. Strongly recommend that folks hold off and wait for all the bugs to get worked out before jumping into the MH-1. Hopefully by then some better distributors/builders will start offering it as well.

Nice... question, would dirt or grit affect the pin system connection?

To our understanding no as its contained, but could be wrong.

I've heard about plans for a thermal pod, but in the mean time will you guys be coming out with an arm for the bridge to run an HMT in dual band?

That would be awesome, but I have not heard of any plans yet.

How much lighter is this than the DTNVS MG with Carson optics on both?

Dude, fix your audio! All of the dialog is just coming out of the left speaker.
