Carnitas and Chile verde, we drove to the LA location yesterday after church( we live in the Inland Empire and go to church in Pasadena) but unfortunately Sol Agave in LA don’t have on site parking and I barely started walking after months of suffering serious back problems. The cross street parking was challenging for me. Well next time 😊.

hard to decide, but the guacamole plate is what remembered most.

I think it’s very arrogant to think that elevated Mexican cuisine doesn’t exist! For cuisine and art, Mexico is definitely a very cultured country and these types of restaurants are everywhere. A place to experience excellent elevated cooking is in Valle de Guadalupe- wine country in Baja California. The food is farm to table, delicious and unpretentious (for the most part). Also quite affordable for the quality food you get. Your videos are fun and entertaining, and of course, can make anyone hungry! 😋 Thank you for documenting these good food spots!

Steve you are always such a charmer while having manners with your guests. It's so refreshing. And as per always, the food looks amazing and fun!
This is one of the best restaurants I have seen, quality service and the food menu is excellent , well cooked. This is a must visit while in Los Angeles. Santa Monica is one of my favorite places, plenty of nice sights and sounds there... good upload.

The difference between these two is so stark. Like watching a mother with a five-year-old.
Really great video. This is why I drive to LA from the Central Coast every year for my birthday. Everything looked great, except maybe for the carnitas, which looked too dry. My meal would be the guac (especially if it's free!), shrimp taquitos, chili verde and that butter cake. Damn.

We love fish and that Del Mar Sea Bass looks amazing! Everything on the table looks so good, but how about the price though? The restaurant looks upscale so hopefully everything on the menu is reasonably priced.

Hey rockstar eater. You want the best Mexican restaurant in Torrance California.... Go to la capilla Mexican restaurant. The best Mexican food in the south bay. And also the best taco truck in Gardena California called tacos El Antojito on Figueroa and 168th st. Now those 2 places are the best.

La Capilla is super gringo style, they dump tons of cheese and sour cream on everything. Interior is in desperate need of a makeover as well
highly recommend this place in Bell, CA in LA County, La Casita Mexicana fun fact it's also Jet Tila's favorite Mexican restaurant

I suggest look on the website. These prices change all the time due to rapid inflation, so it would be outdated in no time

The first thing you should have done in your series of Mexican food is divide it up into regional cuisine and then by price. You have great Mexican restaurants from almost every region in Mexico and at various price points. Otherwise, you'll never finish your series. LA's Mexican food scene is exquisitely comprehensive and has a rich and complex history that reaches back to a time before it was part of the USA. Maybe you can do a separate series on the best Mexican food trucks in SoCal. That might be more manageable. I suggest you start on Olympic Blvd. Good luck
