Thanks man, I'm now using these exact controls which feels better but takes a bit of used to. Game so far is pretty good and unique, kind of unfortunate it isnt popular in the West but I understand.

Hello who play ps5 Naraka bladepoint is it controller vibrate for you? For me zero even if i turned it on in settings! No vibration if i hit opponents or if i get hit... 😬

Yeah us PC players had way more time to learn then you guys but I am also a controller player and I do fine in this game very rarely do I find myself getting completely bodied if anything I die cause parry don't register a lot in this game especially against bad ping players

Yo I keep getting put into high lvl games like tip 0.5% and I need to improve ASAP so what should I focus on movement or rotation

If you are actually trying to play at a high level learning the movement is key. Since no matter how good you are at rotating if you cant fight it wont do much for you.

I personally run the auto to manual with grapple hook it helps catching Matari with grapples

Meh I never have to much of a issue with it. A good Matari will get away in ult one way or another. I just punish when ult is gone.

Go to SFX and Turn down Misc Volume. Should turn down Moonbane ( The reptile) and Sunwing (The Bird)

Yo fuckin great guide man. I watched another setting guide and it was just so obvious they dont play with a controller… they had melee aim assist only with no camera shift. And alot of other things that are fine for pc but def not controller. Subbed

Hi, may i ask wouldnt the dodge on your left stick makes you hard to do long dodge/short dodge?

That is a great question. I have never had a issue with that. By quick pressing it you do the short dodge, by press and holding you do the longer dodge.

@@lucaschia6206 If that is a issue what you might wanna do is put your dodge on the B (XBOX) O (PlayStation) button then use that for reload. If that is more comfortable for you.

It up on the D-pad. You will see it when you watch past the 16:30 mark as well as all the other button configs and reasonings.

Another quick tip. Most attacks end up to the right so dodge to the left. Except for the spear you dodge to the right. It is very helpful

Is it just me or whenever I try using my ultimate it will sometimes either parry or use grapple when I’m around enemies

It depends on what buttons and settings you have if you follow the layout in this guide parrying with quick parry is the only way you can parry due to the settings we change. I would recommending watching the video from beginning to end as its a very detailed guide

@@ChaosKingTru i missed the part of this where you played on pc on a controller. from what i have experienced and what i’ve heard quick counter is broken on console. not 100% sure about xbox but on playstation quick counter barely works

I actually swapped to a XBOX series X about a month ago. Have not had any issues with it what so ever. They might have bad internet or think they are parrying at the right time but are not. Parrying is all about knowing each weapons "Parry Timings" or "Parry Windows" Which its not 100% based off what you see.

I like everything but the remap and melee aim assist. I can't do aim assist cause it screws up my movement if I'm trying to run away. Keep locking on to their characters instead of vertical canceling away. Mapping honestly seems solid. I'm just not about to switch the controls I have ingrained in me already. Feel like I'll do more damage with old habits then to form new ones 😂

It allows you to keep your thumb in controller for finer aiming and ping at same time

@@justinnickell4965 By doing that you with this layout you would not be able to ult. So that wouldn't work. Pings is on Y/Triangle so Quick counter being on D-pad does nothing to ping. Also if your parrying you wouldn't have a ranged weapon. So there would be nothing to aim with. Not quite sure what you are talkin about here.

@mrp8231 when you say L3 if you mean the left analog stuck that is how this guide has the layout. For ps5 button layout I have a link in the description since it got cut out of the video.

Never lost more games than I have with this control scheme. I've gone for my ult several times mid combat and was forced to parry. Last time I tried, I used my Skill and lost a 2v1 I had in the bag because I warped with Kurumi's umbrella. Choose literally anything else for your ult if you find this happening to you.

The cap oozing from this is inspirational. Because your mistaking parrying means you did not follow what I said about turning counter composite off. And even if you had it on. That to do that parry you would have to hit L2/R2 or LT/RT to doe the parry. Ult is on L1/R1 or LB/RB and skill is on LT and L1. AKA you either lying or didnt follow the guide. LOL nice try tho.

@ChaosKingTru Admittedly, I changed parry to R1 (because the gall to hit up on the D-pad for parry is baffling but acceptable enough per player preference). On the other hand, I've ended up using my Skill (L1 as you've mentioned in your video;) rather than the Ult (L1+R1), which is what has costed games (even a 2v1 that I genuinely had but was wiped because no heal Ult Kurumi) for me and a number of friends I've recklessly recommended this video to. Since then I've set my Ult to up on the D-Pad + R1 and Parry remains R1 (Because that seems to be the most consistent for myself; likely not everyone but there's no risk of accidental skill use). Though that begs the question, why are you recommending L1+R1 for Ult to new players, with the risk that they will trigger their Skill (L1) mid combat and not their intended Ult?

@@Ryder_Kain That is a great question. This is actually answered on the video at 21:14 . The config is R1+L1 not L1+R1. So you also have it backwards.

Paddles are not needed to play naraka bladepoint. Put if that is what you prefer more power to you. 😀
