This event happened once in a lifetime .. those are real mummies of kings and queens who ruled Egypt and the event because they moving them from the Egyptian museum in tahrir square to the new civilization museum so this is a salutation for their achievements to egypt in the past .. if you go to the museum you will see the real kings and queens mummies in person under the coffins which is something impressive to see real royal people lived in that ancient era ! Proud to be Egyptian

Hey dear, this was a golden parade for our kings' and queens' mummified mummies They used to be shown in the egyptian museum in cairo, the place that u saw in the beginning of the video..but egypt made another museum in cairo too that the mummies can be shown in a perfect way in it u have to come and visit it..it us called national musem of egyptian civilization, it contains another amazing sections beside of course yhe section of the mummies This procession was in appreciation and respect for our kings and queens that we are changing their places Regarding the size of them..no dear they wear in normal size as nowadays Men used to be approximately about 175 to 180 cm And women from 160 to 170 If u saw the mummies themselves that are shown now in the museum u will fibd that their size is normal❤ U just felt that they are huge because of the sarcophagi (the painted boxes that we have the mummies inside it) that they are put in them are big❤ Regarding the mummification, there is no modern kings, queens or presidents are mummified, because this is an ancient secret...ancient egyptians died with the secrets of this process they never shared it in details, yes we know highlights of it but in details no one knows it or can do it like them...keeping this secret with them was because of political reasons as after this era we were invaded by foreigners so egyptians decided to keep secret of mummification to themselves and never share its details😌❤ Regarding the plates that they are holding it..They are luminous dishes, symbolizing the disc of the God Ra , god of sun in ancient egyptian religion, whose light shines to illuminate the darkness, and that is the reason for its appearance in the form of a luminous crystal. The ancients used it in an important belief that it illuminates the way for the procession of kings as a symbol of the light of the sun that shines on Egypt❤ And yes the man that u asked about is his excellency president Abd El-Fattah El-Sisi , president of egypt❤ He went outside to welcome his predecessors in their new home, the new museum that he established. Hope to be covered all your questions in the video, i am an egyptian tour guide and I'll be glad to share with u our history so feel free to ask about anything else🙏🏻❤ Finally i recommend u this song from the same event: kzread.info/dash/bejne/p4Nnr6Rwmtqnaag.html What u will listen to is our ancient egyptian language that u see it represented in hieroglyphic signs on temple..and it is translated in english in the video don't worry By the way it is not written by anyone..it's an ancient chant written on one of our temples dedicated to goddess Isis. Note: isis is an egyptian goddess. Glad and proud u loved the event that is really one in a lifetime and u must come and visit this museum ❤

Here to answer some of ur questions, this was a once in a lifetime event, but there was a similar one celebration the renovation and opening of el kebbash road, it was also the day They’d reveal the renovated downtown area including Tahrir square and celebrate the opening of the museum of civilization. The orchestra was indoor because they were playing that music in the museum of civilization which is where the mummies will be placed, and only the older kings and queens were mummified (we don’t do that anymore and nobody knows the secret of mummification yet). Also the opening of the grand Egyptian museum will be even better since this will be the worlds biggest archeological museum.

Also gold and blue were everywhere because the 2 most precious materials in Ancient Egypt were gold (obviously) and lapis lazuli. Because they were rare, sure, but also because gold was considered the flesh and blood of gods and lapis lazuli their hair (and silver their bones)

It is once in the time to see the king and the queens moved to thier home in the new museums some of the mummies actually was in the old museum for more than 200 years after their discovery it costs the Egyptian governments more than 558 million dollor and the current Egyptian Presidents are not mummified but they are still cover thier body in white clothes like the ancient and if you want to participate in the next parade in egypt you should be Egyptian or form an Egyptian ancestors or you are in Egyptian university and too see the parade it is easy bc it free of charge to see it + the orchestra is actually full in ancient Egyptian and the bowels that the people hold it the lighting bowls called moon bowel and it is a bowel used to bless the died people in ancient times

Hello rukia.. my appology cause this comment is gonna be fairly long.. i will try to explain that event and handle some of your questions and explain whats happening.. 1) This event was soooo special as egypt built new museums and hene they wanted to give egypt's ancient royal kings and queens the proper attention and honor them for what they did to this country thousands of years ago.. so thy decided to relocate them pemenantly to the new museum of egyptian civilization after they prepared a special wing for them.. 2) the fashion theme clearly was based on ancient egyptian fashion. 3) the orchestral music was actually inspired from ancient egyptian music 4) the whole event can be considered practically as a formal official royal funeral.. hence the sad spiritual vibs u felt.. as the music was actually inspired from ancient egypt funral music yet royal musics so that mix gave u that feeling. Now u have to pay attention to some points: A) since its a funeral.. they used black and specially blue colours which where the colours of sadness in ancient egypt. B) cannon shots are traditional in formal and official funerals, and they are 21 cannon shots.. 7 cannons 3 shots each. C) in the political protocol a king or queen is of higher rank than a president, presients always should be in honor of reception for kings and queen, also our culture emphasise that the younger always wits for the older, thats why u would see our amazing president "abdel fatah al sisi" standing attention ( formal military salute posture when you are not in uniform) an waiting the arrival of the cars transporting the kinfs and queens. 5) the boys and girls are actually volunteers from uniersities arond egypt and they only practiced for 3 months, which also is the same duration the orchestra practiced the music. 6) the language spoken by the operallic choir is actually ancient egyptian spoken language and it has been revised and corrected by 3 university professors. 7) the beautiful ladies who spoke in the mini videos during the parade are actually egypts most famous actresses and public figures. I hope i was able to handle few of your inquiries in a clear way

Very underrated and on purpose. It’s time to regain our past glory and show the whole world who the Egyptians really are.

The Egyptian Civilization was born more than 7000 years ago and lasted for over 3000 years! The time span between the earliest and the latest king and queen among the 22 mummies in this parade is 400 years! we know countries today that have been there for less than 200.
