@@oskarsss1934 An Israeli playing a Macedonian Greek....whose family ruled Egypt? Yeah....but few other "already known" actresses could do as well. They raised hell about an Israeli playing Wonder Woman....her accent DIDN'T match the actresses playing YOUNG DIANA and yet they were smash hits.

Mimi deserves a BAFTA for her reaction to when Otis didn't love her back. And I'm utterly serious. She was utterly compelling to watch.

Mimi is the breakout star of 2021. Her co-star Simone Ashley (Olivia) will be the breakout star of 2022....as she plays Kate in Bridgerton season 2.

Their relationship was more exciting and fun to watch. I felt like Ruby bring out the fun side of Otis, and Otis bring out the soft side of Ruby, so they really balance each other out. With Maeve is just stressful to watch, she never really appreciate Otis she’s always confused, Otis and Maeve may have a history and the love was developed from that long friendship but it doesn’t mean they are meant to be together because quite honestly I was over their relationship from the get go.

@@worldcitizen2253 Yes. The love that Otis has for Maeve is from his side of wanting to be a hero for her, to fix her issues for her.. His love was developed from a friendship and you can have that with just anybody you call a good friend, it just so happened that it was a female and male friendship so they automatically thinks it means soulmates 😂.. But it’s not. Maeve and Otis are good at being friends but couple wise, they’re the total opposite.. It just seems too forced in my opinion. Where Ruby and Otis, it’s weirdly fun and the attraction is so strong, the compassionate love for each other is obviously there.. They both disagreed on some things but always managed to resolved them just because they care for each other a lot.. With Maeve it was always a one sided decision where Otis always have to sacrificed his own happiness for her but she never does the same back.. It was just toxic to watch. So team ROTIS!! ❤️

I think that they have a really good chimestry,the impact that their relationship had in the second season led the directors to do something deeper in this third season, which had an even greater impact than the second, so seeing that most of the fans and the cast want Rotis I guess it would take the directors to take the next step in season 4

@@filip3973 sadly I don’t think they have much say in where the plot goes, but I think the believability of their performance would probably play a part in the decision, because it’s no good having a beautifully written love story if it’s being acted like they’re being held at gunpoint and forced to do the scenes, which is honestly what Otis and Maeves scenes felt like especially the kisses, although I don’t even think it was brilliantly written either tbh, with Asa and Mimi I think this compilation shows that they have the exact same chemistry as their characters but just as friends instead which I think is why it felt a lot more natural with them for most people because they were basically being themselves just with more kissing which they just don’t find awkward anymore because they’ve been doing that sort of stuff for 3 seasons now. Their story was both well written and phenomenally acted so if that played a part in the decision which again I imagine it would Rotis has a clear edge IMO. I genuinely can’t think of anything Motis does better, the only reason I can think now as to why the writers would still make it end up with Otis and Maeve together is because they don’t want to make the first 2 seasons pointless in terms of developing Otis and Maeve but to me that’s a reason to NOT have them together, because it literally only took 6 episodes (including s2 ep7) for almost the whole fandom to abandon the ship they’ve been rooting for since season 1, some didn’t even need all 6 episodes, I saw some people before season 3 who already wanted it purely based on the season 2 episode.

I mean they cutted her off halfway Season 3 while she still had feelings without going on with that story on any level at all. Rubys mom works in the hospital. So a scenario where something happens with Otis babysister. Ruby has somehow has to be in the hospital and walks into Otis. They get to talk, comforts him. And start to talk about them 2 etc. Ruby gets into an argument/fight with her friends. Which she is upset about. She needs to talk with someone and doesnt know anyone else to talk to besides Otis cause thats someone she knows she can always talk to. And who is someone she knows she can trust with these sort of things. And that gets all feelings warm up a lot again. Something could happen to Ruby's father who as you know has MS. And something went worse with him. She is obviously upset about it in the hospital. And needs someone to be there for her. And since Otis did met her father too. Enough possibilities really 🤗🤗🥰

Yeah and honestly for me I think the season started really well at the beginning when ruby was with Otis and after they broke up and kinda went down a bit until the last episode when they closed down the school. I think they do more with ruby and Otis than a one and done thing.

We all have our own definitions of love and clearly Otis opened a side of Ruby that she didn't expect from herself ontop of allowing him to get to know her on a level that even Olivia and Anwar didn't, plus ever her dad said Otis is all she talks about and that shes been way happier since being involved with him.
