I have a question for everyone in the comments section. Japanese people can read English, but sometimes we don't understand abbreviations. Does CR mean Cancel Rush? Does LK mean Large? Or do you mean Light? In Japan, the expressions are different for each individual, such as "小/中/大 = Small・Light/Medium/Large" and "弱/中/強 = weak・jab/Medium/High・Strong", but does English also change depending on each individual's expression?

cr = しゃがみ st = 立ち L, M, H = 弱, 中, 強 例えば： StHP = 立ち強P

Cr means (crouching). You can also see “st.” (Standing). LK is just (light kick) as in MK & HK being medium and heavy. Interchangeable with “P” for punch. You’ll see people write combos down with cr./ st., As far as vernacular goes, you will hear a lot of older street fighter players say “short””strong” “low forward” “fierce” “roundhouse” but these terms don’t translate to other games. In Tekken the button are numbered 1,2,3,4 so when people write down combos or express what move they just did, they’ll say “df (down, forward) 2, or ff 1, or 1+2

LK is definitely light-kick. And CR means "crouching". So, CR LK would be "crouching light kick", for example.

just based on what I've learned, L/M/H "L" for "light", "M" for "medium", "H" for "heavy", "P" for "punch", "K" for "kick", "st" for "stand", "cr" for "crouch" so basically, "crMK" means crouch medium kick, "stHP" means stand heavy punch, and so on... btw, I'm not sure what you refer to when you mentiond about "CR", it might be some typo thing I think, I haven't seen any abbreviation specifically indicate "cancel" action yet.

Modern Ken looses cr lp which is actually huge for him since it naturally links into target combo. He also looses jump hk which has the best scaling for big Combos after stun and specific combos after DI. No way in hell is Ken the best modern character.

bruh... jump in HP will do just fine lol... losing 20 damage is nothing when you easily beat all jump ins or DI attempts

Losing jump HK kills his best neutral crash tool outside of heavy dragon lash. Not good to lose. Seen angry bird and Tokido win plenty of rounds with a panic jump HK. Losing optimal command run combos without cLP would suck also

@@monsterofvoices you mean neutral jump heavy kick? as a panic option would be missed? considering you could get punished for 50% easy for so little reward... when MP at least gives you a juggle chance when you land or oki and HP is a soft knock down IDK how tokido using it in panic situations makes the move vital to his kit, especially when you have 1 button DP against any one who neutral jumps on you lol.
