Minis forum, or beelink on 7840x is prette good alternative for media, or some vector graphics, i use for laser engraving and 3d printing/slicing

One thing not mentioned is the average cost of each unit, which can also be a decision-maker, particularly the Mac Mini which is not cheap. Plus, it's also a Mac, not a Windows machine / PC like the video title suggests. So if you're unfamiliar with MacOS, or hate it like I do, then shove that one off the list.

I have been a windows user since XP and currently have a windows 10 machine, i bought a mac mini 2 weeks ago and to be honest I've not 3ven thought about booting up my windows machine as the Apple machine is absolutely incredible. I was also a hater of all things Apple but recently theyve made them so accessible to windows products that it was a no brainer for me, Lightening quick and MUCH more secure. I paid £650 for the 8g 10 core m2 model with 256g SSD, You can upgrade 5he storage with ano5her 1TB if youv uy a dock and SSDfrom Amazon, which come in at around £150,

​@@abdelben2800 laptops night have trouble against these in terms of performance and often price, but they more than make up for it with the ability to use them anywhere at any time, as long as the battery has charge. I dunno if these would be a serious threat to laptops.

Actually thee best mini pc is Minisforum um790 (ryzen 7940hs) the most balanced performances between compute , gaming (780M) and price 500$ for the barebone and 450 $ for 64go ram (crucial) and 2*2To SSD (lexar or WD sn850x) there is no competition from any major brands particulary Apple M2 or Asus minipc... i am waiting for the soon 7945hx and 7840u mini pc from minisforum

Actually the best mini PC is PeanisForum ICUP990 (Ryzen 9940UP). It has 7 jigawatts of performance power. It is only sold in my butt.

Finally, GEEKOM Mini IT11 looks what I need because it has a SD card slot. I need only bump memory to 64Gb.

sheesh, stop doing 2d. Learn 3d and project to 2d. Also add revit to your pipeline. For you question: all of them but macos had acad since a couple of years, so it is not recommended

Lol they probably are just doing light tasks. Honestly that's really all I'd be using the majority of these for. Maybe something like snes emulation, but definitely movie watching. The power draw would be perfectly low for this usage.

Any supporting a 64 bit, Linux on this will run like a Zipper, try linux it is made for this PC just check out Linux on youtube and see, I teach my Grandson LOOK and LEARN but get hands on also, he is 13 now and he does boxing lessons and plays soccer for his school in England, he is keeping out of trouble but time will tell, I tell him eat all of your veg as it will make you strong like a hamster. . The most trouble free PC experience that’s intuitive, has you working and playing without on-line courses on pre-use, maintenance and upgrades is Apple. It’s really headache free, out of the box up and running the moment it’s turned on. I own several Win 10, 11 pc’s and they’re great, even a Linux running on a Toshiba laptop. But Apple is always the easiest to get you where you want to be without pouring over on-line courses or documentation beyond setup.

Bad/Terrible list DIdn't even include any Minisforum like UM790 who's igpu and DDR4 64GB (or even 32gb like mine) is amazing. I was planning to build an expensive PC but after using this (also for gaming) I might never buy a full personal rig again and have hope for future mini PC's like the Khadas (forgot exact name)
