Its funny how the exynos flagship is (still) lagging behind in terms of efficiency but their midrange turns out to pretty good

I guess it's mainly because flagship exynos is much more powerful than midrange exynos. What does more powerful mean? Yes, more power consumption. That's why midrange exynos seem to be more efficient. I guess if both the Exynos 2400 (flagship) and Exynos 1480 (midrange) are on par in terms of performance, their battery efficiency would be the same but who wants a flagship phone that performs like a midrange. Gotta sacrifice some juice for those performance

​@@josuke6131yep exactly they can't have the flagship exynos be so much less powerful than the snapdragon equivalent so power has to come first because they know people will compare the speed to the snapdragon equivalent. But they have yet to match the efficiency, heating and battery drain of the snapdragon flagships.

It seems that this year no one is competing with Sony phones In terms of battery life performance Xperia 1vi & Xperia 10 vi They have amazing battery life

My Tensor G3 Geekbench multicore scores are always over 4k. I don't know why KZread scores from most sources are so comparatively low? Would potentially faster storage for the 256 gig SKU affect CPU benchmarks at all?

Please do the battery drain test of Sony Xperia 1 VI

The Pixel 8a looks good on paper because the individual components are good. But it seems to be very poorly engineered and manufactured, the battery is drained easily and the phone gets really hot. Not surprising given Google is mainly a software company, unlike Samsung and Sony which both have vast experience designing and manufactoring electronic devices.

Well said. I had lots of Google phones from HTC G1 to Nexus, to Pixel 8a. There is always great potential with them but the QA part is sometimes lacking.

With Exinos 2200 S23fe devices I notice the battery is quickly consumed by data consumes 30% for 8 hours standby and I notice the battery consumes every 20 minutes 1% data in standby on the LTE network I do not know why consumption is high in data specifically the device is in standby either the use of Wi-Fi battery is very consumed is excellent and does not consume the battery and it is in standby consumes 3% for 8 hours on Wi-Fi I do not know why data consumes the battery quickly unlike Wi-Fi very excellent Is Exynos 2400 suffers the same problem and no? Can it be fixed by updating the modem software?

all people know Xperia phone battery unbeatable even iphone pro cant beat it.

I didnt expected the photos of the xperia were still so good in comparison. do we miss night photography though? i mean i love xperia i have one here the 5ii and i have a google here too the 6a but i always thought the sony xperia 10 series were pretty bad in the camera department.

They were, but they have improved a lot. I just upgraded from a 10 III to a 10 VI and it's is night and day difference. The photos look great, very sharp and great colour science.

The 10 series improvement ALOT since 10v and now 10vi on new camera algo. But still most Sony haters will continue to bash even latest 10 when they don't even use Xperia, just because it's sony

@@fantasytky28 i have the 5ii but i was happy before that i didnt buy the 10ii or 10iii. but this 10vi really looks better in the photo department. i hope this year they will make 5vi with a dedicated zoom lens 80 or 90mm than ill probably go for that one. for now im just thinking maybe a 1 series. but this 10 vi series i recommendable to people i know like my parents than with such camera.

exynos 1480 is one of the best soc samsung has made in ages incredible level of thermal management for a samsung chipset

thank you very much for the test, but please tell me who do I have to kill or sleep with 😉 so that you can do the same test but on a 4G/wifi mix? Preferably with Xperia 5 V, 10 VI, Pixel 8/8a and iPhone 15 and possibly S24 (Exynos from the European market)

Hahahah so here is the thing, I understand that 4G is using less battery than 5G, but the proportions in my experience are the same, as in, all phones will last longer but IMHO it doesn't change the ranking of the phones. It's similar to making phones dimmer. Why do I use 5G and brighter screen? Mainly because as you see in the stopwatch, this test lasts 1.5 days and if I do it on 4G it is gonna last even longer.

@@paweuy I assume you are from Poland? I would say try Xperia 10 VI and if u don't like it just return it, there is no other none Chinese brand with headphone jack in the market.

The pixel 8a is very good for photos, for the rest... It's average honestly. The screen is good but nothing more, I spend my time looking at the battery, it's really annoying. The sound on calls is not great, we would say that the earpiece is behind the phone, with average sound outside of wifi calls. I'm going to get tired of it, I can feel it...
