Khadlaj has a new vibrato clone called La Prestige Empress. It will be great to see you compare and check it out for your own collection too. Let's hear your point of view on that. I am confused on maceration, do all of them? The only ones I hear about regarding this term are the middle eastern fragrances. I would think that all fragrances macerate, but I never hear it mentioned except in middle eastern reviews.

Hi Cathy! I am so glad you are bringing this up as I can tell you I’ve had a fair share of Western Niche fragrances that have needed to settle or sit for a while before they reach their optimum level! There are multiple factors that can impact the optimal performance or delivery of the intended olfactory journey of a fragrance and it can be something as simple as the fragrance composition being temporarily destabilized due to fluctuations in temperature during shipping and other conditions! So yes, no fragrance really is exempt from requiring settling time. That being said, we know that part of the affordable pricing of some ME fragrances is in direct correlation to them being released for retail distribution while still in the process of maturation. But please note that this is not a fact to be blanketed or generalized for all ME fragrances because I am about to start a new series where I share fragrances where this is not the case but of course, this is a different price point! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
