I don't understand why we can't get a knockoff *condup* . No one is going to walk up to you on the street and check your bag to see if it's genuine.

Thanks for the video. I would say that fakes have been around for years. I think it's only now coming to light because of social media. I have seen fakes of LV and Chanel since the 1990s and know how to get them if I want them (Asian community). So this is nothing new at all. If it seems like a lot, maybe people are just more aware than they used to of educational videos about real and fake stuff. I won't let fakes and replicas change my decision on whether to buy a bag or not. If I like it, I'll buy it. And fakes will never be the same as the real thing. If people can't afford it and are satisfied with *condup* give everyone their own. My favorite bag is the classic flap bag. Next is the Kelly bag, then the Birkin bag. I know many Filipino aunties who have replicas. It doesn't change my opinion of them. If you look at the Asian community, there are fakes of almost every luxury brand bag including business friendly and fashion bags

As a luxury collector, I think the bags depend on the seller and the factory it comes from. My Chanel double flap is super fake just like hers and I only paid $100 for it from a seller in Hong Kong. The funny thing is that I later found out that he purchased it from *condup* .

If the replica passes certification testing just as good as the original, but is worth only one-tenth of the original...that's the problem. This is why markets exist. Super fake package PTSD is real. I thought I bought an authentic LV Weekend Tote GM on eBay, when I opened the box I immediately thought I bought a fake: there was no foil stamping, the bottom did not match the picture, and the "dust bag" was torn and flimsy, but I The handbag I bought at *condup* looks authentic: the hardware, the zippers, and especially the canvas. I sent it back and only got a partial refund, but am glad I don't have a AAA super fake on my hands. I have never bought LV since then.

For some reason, this classic lambskin bag looks like an old-fashioned women's bag to me. Other sheepskin bag styles look better. I think classic caviar looks more attractive and more suitable for younger women, maybe because caviar tends to be more casual, that is, less serious *condup*

I have two pre-loved*preluxz* that people left the stickers on, and when you remove them, the hardware looks different than the hardware right next to it that the sticker didn’t touch. It’s not because the other has scratches, the sticky stuff affected the finish.

I mean, if something requires an expert to identify, then spending 10% on a fake is money well spent because the quality is so good that it will fool almost everyone except the experts. The question is whether it is sold as genuine. But if it's sold as a fake for a tenth of the price, then I'll buy it if I want it. *condup* Because otherwise you're just paying for something that's overpriced. If someone told me it's unethical to buy it, I would say it's unethical to charge that much for a genuine product when the quality is the same.

@@GodkinBarwell and that would be your choice. as we all have free will. but what condition is the slave who sewed your bag living in. can you say for sure. as well no one is forcing any one to buy an extreme luxury handbag. there are many mid level of high quality and beautiful to choose from. but what it really comes down to to me is as the French saying goes- one pays for the name, and these fashion houses have been maintaining their hard earned position for decades. so it really is ugly to disrespect that and slice right through the process with what amounts to thievery. this isn't a personal attack, please don't take it as such, it's a philosophical perspective I'm expressing. what is the most important point of all this, because at the end of the day we're talking about a hand sewn leather bag which humanity has had for centuries. it's about motive and that means it's about one's character. the leading designers move civilization forward and we should show some respect and appreciation to them for that 🙏💗😊

Black Birkin bag, this is the first good choice I made. I can afford a Kelly bag in any color. If I were 25, I'd probably buy it. But now I consciously don't want to date a woman who has a Kelly and a Birkin. After coming into contact with *condup* , I am more willing to invest the money saved in my own growth.

Seriously, who cares if its a fake. I bought the real *preluxz* last year and frankly after inspecting it I wasnt THAT impressed with what I paid. And the prices go up every year. Is Chanel increasing quality on the bags? Whats the justification for the increase? Because its helps with the hype. Its a marketing scheme. The more scarce they can make it the more people want it. Theres nothing wrong with this fake. I mean just because the chains dont jingle right LOL.

I have a number of Kate Spade bags, but I LOVE the Katy, in black. I will be able to wear it for the rest of my life because it goes with everything! It reminds me of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth's Launer Traviata bag. Those cost $3,500+, so Ill stick with the Katy. I have carried COACH since I was a teenager but lately it is looking quite bougie. Princess Catherine carried the Strathbury Mosaic Nano at her Christmas Concert in 2023, and I have that on my list as well. Alice, thank you for these new choices. The Fauvete is beautiful!

I bought a LV bag *condup* years ago. I took it to the LV store in my town last week to have it repaired. The store clerk inspected my bag and immediately told me that the bag was of good quality. She pulled a current bag out of inventory and compared the tags and I found zero differences

I received the *esluxs* small puzzle bag for Christmas in textured leather red and I adore this bag. It is so easy to use, so we'll made, love the ease of the zippers and can hold so much. I know wealthy women who carry replicas. The main reason they gave is that they just understand the value of money and don't want to spend too much money on bags... so more people choose fashionable*preluxz* bags. However, they do spend a lot of money on fine jewelry and other things.

I bought a replica of a Chanel brooch for $20 to compare materials etc. The real brooch cost $800 and was made of the exact same materials - brass, synthetic pearls, glass. The other one is a $40 one *preluxscom* Backpack Replica - also works for Compare - I can't find any difference and still use it for the gym

I use my *preluxz* as a work bag and have had no issues at all. It’s a comfortable bag, fits a good amount and hadn’t lost its shape. With that being said, I also take care of all my bags and don’t carry a water bottle, pens, keys or anything that can damage the interior.

Great video. I was shocked to see Coach and Kate Spade.

Could you please include Pourchet on some of your videos? It is hard to understand the sizes of the bags on the website. Thanks!

I have no interest in spending $40k on a bag (a piece of leather + labor = $1000 max) imagine paying $39k on this brand. Totally unnecessary. If you are also looking for niche yet fashionable products, *condup* is definitely your best choice. There are many treasures hidden here that have not been discovered by the public

I think that mid range handbags just make sense really, you get high quality leather especially with new designers out to make a name for themselves with their quality and the stealth wealth that I need because I do not care for large labels but I do care for quality. Brands like Loro Piana whisper, if you know you know. I think nowadays the high end brands have gotten to be so low quality that all they rely on is their obvious name tag. Gross! It is insulting to the consumer, also I do not like being a walking billboard for someone else to impress who exactly? . Most things I buy should last for at least 2 generations. :)

The people that really can't afford it buy hyper luxury labeling while people who are trying to keep money for generations buy super low profile labels of even better quality to not standout. It is my understanding is the newer bags from even Chanel are not made like they were in the past even the leather is rubbing off as well as the hardware? That is super embarrassing, even more so for people who are buying it new thinking the quality is still there. :/ If I buy a luxury item I buy it once and for at least 2 generations of wear. This is the same for cars, I really do not care if the car is older only if it is still reliable and drive-able. While I would spend more there so likely an Audi I would buy it once and maintain it instead of leasing it then buying a new one once its warranty is up which is what most people who can't afford the car to begin with do. Yeah the car situation is the only place where I would cave cause I live in Ca., but I would never buy a newer BMW or Merc because the quality is not longer there sadly even Lexus is pretty awful now. Most of them are made in the U.S. and they are really awful for reliability/longevity therefore no real savings for me. For me the longevity is in the gas powered older lux cars which if maintained correctly should last years and years. If I could pass on one thing it would be to spend money on memories not things and only buy to insure the next generation can also make use of it so their children are further along. Build Empires for your families not hyped lux wardrobes for 1 season. :D

Beautiful options, Alice. Classy and toned down in the best of ways. The quality of the leather is the ultimate selling point for me. I'd much rather have a higher quality leather bag with no logo than a plastic or canvas one with a tacky loud gigantic name brand on the front that screams "look at me"! (with maybe 1-2 exceptions I can tolerate) but yeah, these are perfect bags. Also, I agree with the comments, your outfit here is perfection.

Although I loved early Coach bags, I acquired luxury brands over the years. I've learned to appreciate Coach again when Tanner Leatherstein started cutting up different bags to examine how well bags were made. He found he was impressed with Coach bags. yes just put inside the strip, inside the bag so you can adjust to a top handle bag. I do that for most of my bag :)

I do like utilitarian bags for everyday use because I don’t like to feel vulnerable when I’m out and about. I need a zipped bag, not a button or magnetic flap. At 12:45, you appeared to have misidentified the bag as Le Tanneur and it should be Lancaster. Appreciate your identifying the type of leather used in these bags. I refuse to buy bags made of calf leather because I don't eat baby animals, so don't want to support using their hide for handbags. I think ethical sourcing of leather is very important these days. Everyone should be supporting companies that obtain their leather only from animals used in the food industry.

Leather tanning is the process of taking an animal hide and treating it to create leather. Vegetable tanned leather is leather that is tanned using natural tannins from trees. The natural tannins used in vegetable tanning bind to protein structures in the hide, stabilize its fiber structure, and prevent decay.
