my opinion on aegis surge is that it can be kinda cracked if you have a clan and a perk (if you aren't running supremacy) that gives you a lot of health, plus, more health is better than damage reduction because damage reduction doesn't negate as much you think if you got like 50% dmg reduction.

The deeper you go to a skill tree path the more chance you'll get that type of memory? Or is it the most amount of sp u have invested in a path? So like for example, you have 50 sp in total you put 25 on support and the rest is split on defense and offense, so like is there more chances of you getting a 3 star on support when u put more on a path or is it how deep you go? Like purchasing the very last upgrade for support path whilst having a maxed out offense path too

If you put more sp into a certain skill tree it increases your chance of getting a memory that corresponds with that specific skill tree

Within a match all of your memories will work unless you have the no talents modifier on. And yes you can only use 3 memories since you get 1 memory per prestige
