That’s a great idea! I own land too!
I love so many of the master planned communities like 10 of them but I have narrowed it down to my top 4. The Woodlands Hills, Willis is #1 right now, Bridge Land, Cypress is #2, Audubon, Magnolia is #3 and Grand Central Park, Conroe is #4. These are now my only focus leaning mostly towards The Woodlands Hills, Willis but at the same time Bridge Land has taken my breath away specially that I saw a video of a Perry Home 80 FT LOT, Two Story, 5 Bedroom, Design 4931S and also the Fredrick Harris Estate Homes/New Mark Homes. I really hope Perry is a good builder because I love Perry Homes. I love Westin Homes and David Weekley Homes as well. But Perry seems to be the most right for me. Their 75 FT, 3300W One Story Home at The Woodlands Hills is absolutely phenomenal with the big amazing backyard. I am also very much interested in the Perry 4891W Design but as long as they can build the inside to look like the 4931 or the 3395 design. Lots to think for my Husband and I. I love hearing all of the neighborhood you are interested in there is a lot to think about with each of them. Do you guys have kids? Will they be in the public schools? That is probably the biggest thing to consider when looking at all of them. Also, make sure you take an agent with you when you go to purchase because if they are good, they can get you an amazing deal. how much is the monthly tax on a house in the 200s and 300s?

It depends on the rate. But I would say $300-$600

@@LivingInHoustonTexas I would love something with a low tax rate. Coming from Colorado, my monthly payment was less than $200 a month.

Yes but we don’t have a state income tax. So if you make 100k you are essentially paying state of Colorado an additional $416/month
