What are a good fleet for pvp and events for the upcoming event? Also the OP siren is a bit hard on it especially I'm at lvl 61 and my main fleet is in the 8,000 power.

@@deusexmachina9173 I got pvp guide that will answer your question. Please check it. regarding the Operation siren, well it's really hard at your current level, nothing you can do but to level up your ships. Just do the missions if you want to get points needed for the META ship

I started playing because of Sabaton's song "Bismarck". There was a meme where Iron Blood's Bismarck was shown together with the band and the rest was history.

As someone starting the game recently (around a week and a half ago) and with little windows of time to play due to university, this video just pointed me towards the best possible path to do things efficiently. Explanations on the video are precise and to the point with the ocassional laugh and I love that, you sir just won a subscriber. And to answer the question on the video, started playing cause I'm a mecha fan (big Honkai simp) and got tired of seeing the ocasional Bismarck image on Wallpaper Engine. I hope to get her eventually out of respect, but the current event banner is consuming all my cubes so she'll have to wait. Once again, thanks and hope to see more of your content!

Whole heartedly agree with not dealing with low-cost fleets in the early stages. Leveling, upgrading gear, and getting a full mob/boss fleet together are so much more important.

Can confirm. I found that way too many of the (really helpful) newbie guides overfocus on talking about how crucial oil efficiency is that it overshadows the more important fundamentals, and it definitely misled me a bit before I figured out that the real best way until you get to World 9 at a natural pace is to pour all your time and resources into your 2 best fleets. I spread myself thin, and even having just hit Commander Level 85 after 3.5 months of playing, I don't have a single Lv120 (Hood is my closest at 118).

@@ScudX Personally, I prefer a slow start so that I could have a smooth sailing end game at world 13. I've been playing for over a year now and I'm still sitting at world 8. I would have stayed at world 7 if clearing 8-4 wasn't a requirement to getting Akashi. Currently working on PR2 ships. Right now, I could probably get to world 10 but I'm waiting until I max out the skills on the meta ships that will be valuable at world 13.

It's very good to reach 7-2 as soon as posible, because you can stay a lot of time on that map leveling up your ships to lvl 100-110 and also earning a lot of coins. I did that until I had 2 strong fleets and then I crushed world 8, 9, 10 and 11 easily

2-1 is a great map to farm coins and get some amazing missions

This video is actually genuinely criminaly underated and damm and this world actually genuinely needs more people actually like you in this world ❤😂🎉.

Well I start playing since december of 2019 and it was a coincidence to find this game, I was watching a video compilation of anime and then the guy who did the video talked about azur lane and its new global servers, i knew Kancolle from the anime and movie, my favorite shipgirls were Yamato, Shoukaku, Mutsu and the sendai class sisters. Thanks for this video, sometimes is good to have this kind of guides, even for someones with more time in the game.

for your question of the day since I am a newbie commander: Oddly enough it was a combination of Animarchy's "The real ships of Azur Lane" Video's, mostly his Bismarck and Enterprise videos, and the anime (Which I hope get's another season.) that made me start playing.

I am not a beginner player but still found your video to be very useful, giving a perspective the Azur Lane Wiki doesn't. I highly recommend it as a resource as it has lots of good information about drop rates and for me the biggest reason I use it is the maps with the enemy spawn locations. To answer your question, I got to the game because of the Anime. And the anime hooked me because i founding while googling for anime Enterprise (I am a classic Star Trek fanatic). As for the First Carrier Division (Kaga and Akagi), I never picked them up from the 3-4 map. The two copies of Akagi and one copy of Kaga I received was from the submarine SOS map (3-5) I only farm that map on Hard when I need carrier refit items.

I've only been playing for 3 months, and I already have a lot of strong ships but because of one small mistake I built the wrong squad, I was desperate until I met some friends and they helped me built a new squad and now I'm starting all over again. It is a lesson for me to learn a lot but I will try although it will take a bit of my time :((

Reason I got into Azur Lane was the same as yours. Instead, I watched the anime and at the same time, quite fond of warship games. I can't play KanColle so I stayed in playing Battle of Warship, and while I was reading a novel I saw an Ad for Azur Lane with Bel-chan in them so I tried it. And now here I am not regretting anything XD

All my friends started playing it when the game launched so we all joined together in the closed beta, most of them moved onto other gachas but me and a few others are still here

I had Cleveland, London, Arizona, Helena, Unicorn, and Portland yet i never managed to finish stage 3-1 because i was using all common destroyer ships and one long island thinking they're cute ( i don't even care about gear) until i stressed out and delete the game lol. Now i watched this and i want to play again properly, hopefully i can get them again

The second i heard of Azur lane, i was immediately hooked! Girls, guns, and glory. what more could a man want? As for the fox mines (Aka 3-4) if you ever plan on running a Sakura empire fleet, the first carrier division has never failed to impress me, and if you have shinano too, then you AVI will strike fear into all things! 6:31 yes, the aa gun from 7-2 is incredible, my royal navy fleet has six of them. (I run Queen Elizabeth class, Neptune, and Edinburgh class! This fleet will kill just about anything you put in its path!)

Yes! the foxes are great with Shinano, however, since there is no signs of rerun yet, most newer players (and players started after her event) can't really maximize their potential (the best way they have is to get Nagato in construction). The reason I don't recommend them is because getting the 3 are purely on luck(2 fox, nagato), and getting strong SSRs from event is more viable (bec of the rate up). Given that recent events always have super strong SSRs, farming for foxes are not worth it anymore.

i started playing azur lane near the end of inverted othrant event, in those days i felt burned out of playing war thunder and the fun factor was very low to me, so i give it a try and well the rest is history, before i was part of numerous groups of the game in facebook in regards to farming maps, my advice is for new players is: 3-2 even more than 3-4 (according to calculations at least one need to do 200 runs in 3-4 to get both kaga and akagi) due to this map gives good equipment to CVs like the s2bc with 2000pound bomd and the steam catapult (but in my experience with the rng in that map are more the drop rate of the steam catapult is low compared to the 12cm cannon and the s2bc) 4-2 for the purple vickers 40 pom pom, twin 120 and twin 150 and London 4-3 for erebus and terror who are very good with her offensive skill but both along with abercrombie lack the armour, also along hermes are good pics for farming exp for monarch also being cost efficient (i get the 3millon exp with terror/erebus with one one limit break and hermes max limit break) 4-4 for Unicorn and Cleveland 5-1 for the gold twin 127 5-2 for the gold hellcat i hope this helps you, and sorry for my bad english, its not my native language

This is probably late but my personal advice is to not farm for equipment blueprints. It's better to just farm a stage for exp or for a ship drop. If we're talking calculations here, farming for gold equipment blueprints at world 5 would be like farming for fox sisters but it's for an equipment. It's better to just farm for equipment boxes. I used to farm 5-1 for the gold twin but I noticed that most of my gold twins came from equipment boxes. I already got 4 from equipment boxes before getting 1 from crafting blueprints. I also think that for beginners, the purple twin is good enough. There are good purple equipment that should be able to reliably carry players until world 9. Stop stressing on gold equipments. No matter how hard you farm for them, it'll always be easier to get it in equipment boxes. Ever since I realized that, I never farm for equipment blueprints unless it's event exclusive. Also, make sure to get Helena at world 5. She's a godly CL.

I'm a new player and as soon as I heard the fox sisters were in 3-4 I hit that level hard for a week and somehow managed to get them both way early game. I leveled their co-op ability all the way and they do amazing for a lower cost oil alternative for farming maps. Plus....fox girls, man. Fox girls!

this is a great video. I will say that 2-1 is better for grinding for gold. (2-1 and 2-4 have the best chances for grinding for urgent commissions as well). w/auto search, it is the best thing to do with your time/oil. you can have a fleet as low as 3, (or you can do 8). (no word of a lie - I did the majority of my Monarch PR exp, cheshire EXP and now Drake's - simply using 1 to 3 commons in the front and 1 plane at the back). 2-1 is also the earliest chance you can get London (2-3 Nelson and 2-4 Rodney) In case you weren't very lucky getting a SSR battleship during an event. (aka. very very baby). For me the longest time. Repulse and Penny were my battleships (I actually still use them to help farm world eight - simply because they can and keeps oil low :D) My first event was the Pola/Zara re-run (I would have been active before the Henrich event but my phone had issues with AL, and i figured oh well, no point, uninstalled - but i wanted to play so. utter sadness on that because i coulda had some really good German boats) I do remember my friend telling me when i was doing the event - to not use the currency on the gold boxes - simply because you get the gold boxes through daily raids and to use the points on as many PR prints as i could get (and plates) since his thoughts were those were always in high demand and you can make due. it takes a tick bit longer + how long/often you play but i was thankful for that advice since i was able to get Monarch done very quickly (even w/her catchup) and Cheshire to dev level 25 (on this event) (and then enough plates etc to do the really good weapons i got via the research). and I did get really far with the whatever i got via the purple boxes and the gold drop ones from raids, log in + farming. :)

Great! I remember someone told me to grind a certain map for commissions, but forgot which map is it :) It's ok to buy Gold gear boxes ONLY IF you are just starting out and don't have good gears. As you progress, gear boxes (gold and below) are only useful when doing collection research and you dont have something to disassemble

@@a_damska it just depends on how much you grind. you EVERYship you get (unless you need them for limit breaking or something) and retire them, and just keep going until you are tired of doing it.urgent commissions are on sometime of cool down so if you aren't getting any when you are farming. stop, and go back later :)

@@a_damska just 2 digits if you are completing the map Commissions generated are RNG. Possible coin commissions can be as low as 50~80 up to 240~450 (time varies from 1hr to 8hrs)

Started playing Azur lane because world of warships had a collab with Azur lane and there where commanders based off of the ship girls, then I remembered I had it on my phone and started to play it seriously

should you clear all the enemies when you farm or not? cause when i put it on auto search it doesnt kill everything and it goes straight up to the fighting the boss

Azur lane has been fairly generous to me. Started playing towards the end of mirrored involution and got UR New jersey within 8 pulls and now nearly a week later I got akagi, takao, san francisco, san diego, swiftsure, enterprise and a few more SRs...now I just gotta get the other UR(and no not UR Bulin)

Lol we started out similar. I started playing during Shinano event and got her early. I went on a hiatus recently and I sadly missed NJ. So yeah I also have to get the other UR lol.

Same here. I came because of Enterprise. Sadly, I had to marry Akagi first in order to pick her up. But make no mistake, come the 4th of July I am marrying her just like Kirk would if 1701 was a shipgirl.

I started playing when I heard about the Gridman crossover. had the urge to get Akane, Rikka and Yume as my ship Waifus. got them all by the way.

Personally, I suggest anyone who's new to try their best to get to 9-1 as soon as possible, you can use less oil to get exp and coins there. Or d1 and sp4, they are more effective than others before them

I got interested playing that game because there is one ship which became my favorite (actually 2) but yeah it's good

Hey admiral, thanks for the effort you put in. I just started yesterday and your videos will definitely help. One thing I wanna ask is what do I do when my ships start getting low on morale? besides waiting for the morale to go up in their dorms. I only have one fleet for now and I don't have any good units for a second fleet.

Save up dorm tokens to unlock the larger spaces for your first dorm spaces, then save up gems to unlock the second floor for the dorm and later more dorm slots. Second floor of the dorm gives 50 morale per hour instead of the 10 for first floor. Also save up some grey ships of each class (Cruiser, Heavy cruiser, Destroyer, Aircraft carrier, Light aircraft carrier, and Battleship) to slot them in commissions to passively get loads of dorm tokens, oil, and gold plus some free exp for them so they can do higher level commissions.

If you can safely do 2-1 its the easily one of the best oil farms. I use Cassin or Downes (since they have the HP gain on low HP) and they'll remain as steady girls for low oil farming (don't limit break them, keep them at 0 limit break) they cost 1 oil each. And for backliners use Hermes but don't give her gear, she's beefy enough on her own to survive, and she only costs 2 oil causing the total cost per fight to be 3 oil with Cassin/Downes, and once she hits 34, scrap her and you'll get around 20ish oil, slot in a fresh level 1 hermes and repeat ^^

Just make sure Cassin/Downes are in the second floor :) For easier clears id use 2 fleets of Hermes on the back and Cassin or Downes in the front, use one for clearing nodes before boss and the second one for the boss since they'll have the + damage buff and have higher HP

where is the part 2 ? for 9 and more? I'm new player love those loot on the map really help me, any tips on oil ? I'm always 0 oil all the time T_T saw some 2-1 farming oil but its got nerf and don't work anymore.

It took me 1 day to get both foxes and the day after I got two more Akagi while farming it today I started the game three days ago because it got announced as a set in Weiss Schwarz and I wanted to check it out

I started to conquer shinano and PR ships especially FDG and champagne . Unfortunately I joined after dreamwaker's butterfly and another UR has appeared when I started stacking cubes

my answer for you question: I saw an animation of roon firing a rocket launcher at hans, that's how I got into the game. Also is there a good build and fleet for Takao?

I started playing azur lane cuz I was already a big fan of History, anime and SA BA TON SA BA TON SA BA TON

I like history, Kantai Collection so i tried out Azur Lane. I was also watching Hololive during their event but was unlucky and didnt get any of them.

I started playing after finding and watching the anime, I thought they would have my Favorite warship "Mighty Mo" but they don't, Now I just play the game for fun

The first sos mission i did in ch 3 gave me kaga. That made me believe that maybe ships drop pretty easy. Tried to get an elite on another stage and found that is not the case.

I started bcuz of those nuke code about Belfast and Enterprise.

I started playing Azur Lane cause of the collaboration with World of warships legends!

i started playing Azure lane for the following reasons. 1: needed a casual game with something in it that takes my attention, i am not into anime but i do like my warships. (and trying to beat my parents at candy-crush is a futile attempt) 2: i like that the game is not money-hungry-sucking pay-to-progress 3: easy to grind ships in campaign on auto-battle wile working on finances at same time. i did heard of the game before but never took a look at it, as i said before i am not that interested into anime (various reasons, i rate them by how many tropes they use for comedy sake.)

I saw the anime first and saw the uncensored hot springs Sean finished the anime and looked to see if there was a game and then later found out the game came before the anime

I started playing Azur Lane just because there was Enterprise

i start playing azur lane because i found an art from twitter and i like it, im such a degenerate

For me all began with a pc game called navyfield, and a nutaku gacha game called dragon providence and yes, it was xxx game, but regard of that my true objective was collecting and upgrading my waifus for guild rushes, my favourite one was earth godess mother tiamat, and my favourite battleship from navyfield was h44. Theen they cancelled those games, and looking for collectabke waifus and warships i finally found azur lane, an oasis in a desert of bad money abusive greedy games ALL HAIL AZURLANE.

XD "don't farm for fox sister" I'v got them Akagi at first time clearing 3-4 and at third time Kaga. I thought you have guaranted to get one at first clear

I was bullied into playing by my gaming buddies.

advice on how to get more cubes or my opinions on New jersey? RE: USS New Jersey Since stats and skill are not yet out, I'm not yet sure how strong she will (or how to use her) But since she is UR (highest rarity) expect that she will perform well (to compare, she should be stronger than Vittorio Veneto) Regarding cubes, i got an event preparation guide video which you can check. but to summarize: Before the event (which is on thursday), limit your usage on cubes by: do the 1 light construction a day don't do cube analysis research avoid using cubes on PR ships (endure seeing the ! notif lol) ... as much as possible, close your AL app before the daily reset so that the commission will reset to which will have shorter time + chance of cubes check your General and Merit shop if it selling cubes IF azur lane will repeat the Pity system they've done during Shinano event, then a minimum of 200 build (400 cubes) for a guaranteed pull (emphasis on probability, this is not yet final)

For me, take the chance. Even if you use all of your cubes, we will always have 2-3 weeks of non event break to restock our cubes 😉 (or mini events that don't require immediate ship building)

Eh, I was hoping to have a backline of Enterprise, Akagi and Battleship Kaga. And for the second fleet Muse Akagi, New Jersey, and Carrier Kaga.
