Congrats on the M6! I have a custom file from Mission Performance Tuning. Are you on the 6post forum? I’d recommend heading over there and reading what us fellow owners recommend for those just picking up their 6..full of info! Far too much to type in a YT comment.

Did you do anything for heat protection when you installed the VRSF downpipes? I'm looking at their site but they don't seem to have an option for ceramic finish or heat wrap.

I did not. You can always add that on yourself prior to install. I’m sure it helps but not having it hasn’t been an issue for me.

beautiful example. What numbers are you making? Im on a RKTUNES 93 tune making roughly 680whp , looking to switch over. Is the mission performance a conservative (safe) tune?

It put down 748whp on e40 & WMI. I’ve since dialed it back to e30 so prob 720 ish at the wheels (w WMI). The head tech at MP knows these cars very well and can make an aggressive but safe file. I’ve never read of anyone having issues w his tunes. So I’d say yes, they’re safe.

@@Fstm5c yup - stock fuel pumps handle that level of e85 just fine with my tune. I often monitor/log my hpfp & lpfp and they’re always in the proper PSI range.

hey, i have a f13 M6, i just did a stage one tuned with Carbahn Autoworks from california, and not too long after i ve been driving with it, and the drivetrain malfunction popped up, which never happened before, So, i brought it to the shop that did the tune for me, they diagnosed it and said it was the O2 sensors, i replaced them all and today, i floored the gas, it was like the third gear, and the rpm goes to like 7--9000rpms and guess what, the drivetrain malfunction popped up again. seriously, that was heart breaking bro, I JUST NEED SOME HELP/ advises. I M SOOO frustrated by this malfunction brua.

Exhaust wise I have VRSF catless DPs and Meisterschaft’s full SGT system with the velocity box mid section as well.

Thanks. Rear diffuser came from Vorsteiner. Side skirts are from a company called Dinmann.

Yea I’m also running a e30 mix on mine, but overall great job and sounds great. Also if you don’t have, the burger Motorsport catch can kit works great on these engines. Cheers

@@azielazielalbino14 yes, i have the whole system. Velocity box really helps pronounce the high pitch note at higher RPMs.

@@lgeez7599 Appreciate it. So both are great options. On my first m6gc with the megan/meistershaft set up, I loved it. Never had any intentions of changing it. It was a major improvement over stock, especially with the downpipes. However, now that I have the full SGT system, it's more to my liking. Super raw, almost "violent-like" sounding. Is it worth the price difference? For me, yes. However I would whole heardedly advise someone going from stock to go with the catless/meistershaft velocity box/megan set up also. You will not be dissapointed. Hope this helps. If u want, HMU on the forum and I can text you more clips of my original set up if that's what you're learning towards.
