Sorry Mr Professor ,you slipped up here, eg you say at 2:17 ''By the time you get to one point two'' Hold on.......... the shutter speed shown at that point is NOT 1.2 seconds..... it is HALF a second eg 1/2 !! Tut Tut !!

+inkidama tattoo. What are you talking about ? The guy on the video clearly says one point two when he should have said ''By the time you get to half a second ''' when 1/2 is shown as in this running man sequence it means HALF a second NOT 1.2 of a second, vast difference............

Good description. I would add: Although it is implicit via the numbers, each group of settings is chosen such that neighbors to either side allow double the amount of light in one direction, and half the light in the other direction. That is true regardless of whether f/stop, time, or film speed (ISO or ASA) is selected. This type of sequence has been used forever, because the difference between one set of numbers (such as f/8, 1/125 sec, ISO 100 which may give proper exposure), can be easily manipulated by changing 2 or 3 of those numbers to give an equivalent amount of light, but is used to emphasize something such as reducing the depth of field by using a large aperture (numerically small f/stop). One of the reasons for using double/half is that the eye perceives changes of 2 or 1/2 quite easily. Some systems use other numbers, but the principle is the same - a sequence defines the numbers based on a fixed percentage change. Keep up the good work.
