in SOC i love using my Cao cao as barb chainer paired with Hera (5551) no need to max and thats a very solid chainer

I am going into kvk4(soc) for the first time, i regret spending gh on Saladin 5551 for kvk2, its way better to resist the urge on spending gh on saladin, and save it toward soc commanders, like huo/william, nevksy/joan, and other meta commanders like ZL/herman

Great video, great analysis as always. I could not agree more with the strategy of prioritizing your VIP level. I did not do this (I made MANY mistakes), but I sure wish I did! Getting those 1, 2, or preferably, 3 golden heads every single day is an incredible advantage.

I've noticed as a cav main the special troop you get from a cav civ makes a huge difference as compared to running for example ottoman. Only time I would run ottoman is if I was running 2 or more archer marches. Most cav players should run Germany.

you do far better in the field with ottoman, even if running all cav, (the march speed alone is worth it) but i do agree that it's not as essential to swap off germany for fighting as for other troop types.

​@@TJMiton No, I've done the testing the raw stats all around in attack defense and health all make your cav marches more strong and as a result deal strong skill damage. You also save on speed ups from anytime your training. Which eventually eat up into your fighting speedups.

Hey, it's off topic but what do you think about close up dot mode option? Like actual dot mode but when close up, in addition to simplified graphics. If you like this idea make a suggestion through video please 😉

My main is cav is use nev/joan and huo/william, but now i dont know what should i do bc i think the other cav comanders are not very good, and what city skin i should use bc i think i will also do guan scipio or scipio liu. How do you invest in commanders as a medium spender? Currently my kingdom is at preparation phase, I have maxed out mina and I pair mina with cao cao ( 5111 cao). Should I wait for alexander the great and wait for liu che late game ( which means I switch to infantry) or keep using mina cao cao saving all golden heads until soc in order to invest them to cav commanders ?

Hi Omni i have a question.. how come you want us to work on the cav march first and then work on inf and archer and finally the second cav march rather than working on maxing one cav march first, and then maxing a second march in order to maximize use out of research/equipment.

I think simply because of the meta. If you dont have a march of each troop type, youre kinda left without a counter against some of the most powerful marches in the game. Like yeah, as a cav main, you may be able to counter archers, but do you have an answer for the infantry on the field? And in order to have the most powerful field marches in the game, this entails having a march of each troop type, ex scipio/liu, nev/joan, ZL/Herman are the current best field marches in the game. But he may have other reasons, this is just my educated guess.

I don’t think huo/nev is all that great for the field. You might get good single target trades, but I feel like the lack of aoe isn’t all that great for the mb. Maybe for swarming structures, but in the mb, I feel like you wanna lay it out across as many as you can.

@TheExpayr oh, I'm sure you get some really nice trades with it. The thing is, with AoE, you're slapping multiple marches vs just one. Yeah, there's counterattack damage for the single target dps when other marches hit it, but I personally like the idea of wearing down multiple marches at once, and in my experience, it's just better trades overall. Joan's double proc aoe is GREAT in the mb. I personally use nev/mina for structure swarming, but only because I don't have much done with huo. But for the field fights, I definitely try and use as much AoE as I can. Atm, I'm using guan/scipio, LC/Alex, and Nev/Joan. They do incredibly well for me in the mb. To each their own though. We all have a preference 😁😁🤘🤘

@@TheExpayr also, based on the results of the tests I've seen regarding these march combinations, nev/joan and huo/William did best in a 5v5 situation. But this was with all the rng from equipment, armaments, etc. They weren't naked.

Hei Omni, great video as always as a cav simp. Also, do you think 5111 CM/Sun Tzu could be viable in kvk 2, and better than Bjorn/Sun Tzu? I'd use it with Baybars/Aethelfled.

My two takes: 1. Something that people overlook is that Huo is much better barb chaining than Richard 2.I like having my main gear on Huo, mainly because I think he gets much more value from the health, whereas my Nev gets It overstacked

Minamoto might seem expensive when looking at those vip chests, but add up the cost of expertising any other commander and you'll find he's actually the cheapest one in the game

@@jaydeldula8042 but add up the gem value if you were to expert a commander off the wheel. Average what, 80 heads per 70k?. Is like 700k gems. Let's give a low estimate of gems being worth only a quarter of the value of the bundles you purchase to get them and you're still at like $800 to expert a wheel commander. And that's for sure a low estimate on the value of gems

So as a low-spender cav main I should go for scipio/liu on second march, instead of focusing on huo/william?

FINALLY A PERFECT VIDEO. Finally some one approve Germany civ as best for F2P and cavs are best for F2P. 👍👍👍. 5+ Years in this game as F2P. First 2 years as Infantry may be got to 1B KP. Then maxed Attila/Takeda as my first cavs. 3 years later still as F2P. 9B KP. 😝😝

I am a cav specialist and in the last KVK, I mono-troop typed cavs as an ultra low spender. There's a number of benefits to mono-troop typing cavs as a low spender; 1. Crystal tech, going all in on Cav attack tech and skipping all others allows for 20.5% delta of Cav attack vs. other troop types, when going "all in" on cav tech and skipping the others 2. 11 points of base health/defence from Germany (similar to 11% of stats) 3. 5% cav attack from Germany 4. Using Battles Bloom, +15% cav health vs. a delta of -5% att/def on other types. So a 20% to 15% stat delta above an Epic Overall, that's 51.5% of stats you gain by mono-troop typing. Netted vs. Ottoman + Twilight falls, you're running a net of ~40% relative stat gain, and all your marches are reasonably fast. (I'm approximating 1% of stats = 1% of skill dmg = .5% of all dmg) What you sacrifice: 1. Access to the best meta comms of each troop type (biggest impact) 2. Access to armaments (i.e., a triple roll archer is useless to a cav specialist). This is partially mitigated by trans stones now. 3. Reliance on leadership AoE secondaries (Honda, Mehmed) OR type-swapped AoE Archers in Unbound or SoS as secondaries Mono Troop typing cavs works better than you expect. It's not doable with INF. Doable with archers, as they have insane commander depth, but questionable to do so because of march speed as well as targeting priorities most people follow

base points are not the equivalent of a % boost. you have around 220 base stats so each point is worth the same as about 0.45% stats boost. ottoman is better for fielding than germany even for full cav, but it's a lot closer than for other troop types.

Huo is the better choice for 2nd cav march. It's not a great idea to invest heads into XY especially when the new cavs come

I mean...getting blueprints of other troop types, is not so easy to get......legendary ones are from egg event, you kinda have to pick those if you really want them. I'm going to go for 5 cav marches. I want to be quick on the field. Not to get picked on.

I don't understand why everyone insists on running Huo/William when their march speed debuff doesn't stack..Why not run Huo/Joan and Nevsky/William? You can potentially hit more enemies with the debuff

I'd personally stay away from old cavs specially those with relics. William seems okay for now but it would be better to save GHs for newer cavs.

You can enter Lost Kingdom without CH25, the minimum level is 16

Why didn’t you mention France as a civ? I’d say it is for every troop main. When you are running t5 marches, the impact of France is MASSIVE during kvk (healing speed & health buffs). You can use gear & armaments for things like skill dmg & march speed.

Huo is better than nevsky , huo is the best for f2p even, replaces richard in chaining. Awesome for f2p in ruin fights too. I would trade my nevsky for expertised huo happily now.

Please do not recommend anyone to use Zhuge/Herman if they're still using epic equipments. Out of your 4 field pairings, that zhuge/herman gonna fill your hosp faster. It's only good with P2W who don't care about positive or negative trades. Low spender, make sure y'all focus other pairing first then make zhuge/herman last

True. People sniff so much compium thinking that revival set would be the bare minimum needed to field archers and get positive trades. It's definitely not lol but depends on the seed of kvks. I'm huge balls in imperiums and A seeds, it'll do okay but lacks punch and smaller balls it suffers because archers get targeted so much.
