Ulanzi was good, but would've een better if it didn't have that magenta tint, especially when I'm using Canon. Zhiyun seem perfect. May be I should get both 😂

I really wanna get the Zhiyun M40 for my outside photography instead of getting a flash especially since it's so portable

Yeah, as a flash photographyer, I can't stand natural light unless l'm shooting for kicks.. thanks for the recommendation..was considering the ulanzi for product video but the neewer's sparked my interest..

KZread algorithms are the WORST. I dont know why your Amazing vids dont get as much views as they deserve . Great content Anthony please dont stop making it

I’m surprised the Weeylite RB9 isn’t on this list! It’s brighter than the Aperture (1150LM), it’s slightly Larger, Same price, has longer battery life, RBG and Color-Temp Adjustment. It also uses an App for color accuracy adjustments, has both vertical/horizontal mounting, 29 lighting effects, comes with a stand. Highly HIGHLY recommend this light!

How bright is bright? I’m new to lighting and trying to set up a green screen. Would it be good for something to light up the screen itself or is it under powered?

Excellent, straight forward video. For those interested, Zhiyun makes a CM25 light. Basically a smaller version of the 40, but less expensive, and not as bright.

I'm really trying to build a super portable kit that I can use in studio or while traveling, so I appreciate this video! I currently use the Lume Cube Panel Pros and the Studio Panels, but I've been really intrigued by the Zhiyun lights lately and the Aperture/Amaran lights. The only disadvantage to the Lume Cube lights is that you can't build scenes in their app like you can with the Aperture ecosystem.

Honestly, the Aputure ecosystem is unmatched.

if you ever get a chance, can you review the Colbor CL100x and compare them with the other variations between daylight and the RGB and which you think would be great for events?

You know, I'm someone who's really been itching to start taking a stab at making youtube videos and I've got the cameras, lenses, and microphones I want. But not the lights itself. And I want something that is small and compact and can light the entire video... that Zhiyun M40 kinda fits the bill. I think I'll grab one and I've been eyeing the Aperture MC for honestly years now so I might throw that into the background. My main question is if you have a recommendation for a small and compact table top-sized tripod/standing monopod that can fit the Zhiyun M40.

hmmm...I have a couple of Lume Cube Go panels and they are fine for small setups/close ups etc. I don't need full power-just a bit to fill in when doing wedding receptions. I wonder how the Lume Cube Go compares to the ULanzi V120...oh wait...that magenta cast is not good at all. or how bad is it? it's super cheap now on amazon. Will this light ruin my footage? I just want a higher capacity battery... the Zhiyun M40 lasts 29 min at 100% power-the battery is only 2600Mah...Looks crazy bright! I think I like the softer lighting from the lume cube but I can always use a soft diffuser on any light. thanks for the video

Neewer GL25B lights for about $70 each. They aren't battery powered (not a requirement for me) but they are plenty bright, have app control/remote, and can set color temp and brightness.

Aputure MC RGB or Godox M1 RGB or Zhiyun M40?

Please help me decide between the Ulanzi LT028 and the Zhiyun Fiveray M40 (or suggest a similar-priced option). I need a portable, lightweight key light which provide a softlight and smothing skin for videos shot on the bed in a 10-square-meter bedroom with no natural light. Thank you

That M40 is 40W but not really :D. I have 2 big complains about it- the chips have no lens in front of them which leads to weaker output at distance. For example my YN360 is almost 20W and it is brighter than the M40 at 1m and the greater the distance the worse it gets for the M40. Also the M40 never uses all the chips at max power all at once. When you set it to the cooler setting only half of them are at the 100%, same happens for the warmer settings, but at the middle 4000-4400K all the chips are dimmer than max output. So 40W... maybe more like 30W and weaker than models with lenses in front of the chips. And when the battery goes lower than 60-70% the output goes down too. And the fan is very loud. And the second big complain - no app, no idea what is the settings you are dialing in. Those wheels are not precise and the dimming curve is ... bad. So for me it is only hype. Their latest model the M20c is a much more usable tool.

You missed small righ light?

60 watt lights make good shoot pictures if it have flash mode then best pictures I believe get in lot of dark places like forest in sunny weather better picture taken I believe it will look like real sunny weather in dark big trees 🌳 even all animals can see them dark too I believe too.
