Is Brother HL-B2080DW still the latest now in 2023?

Hi. Nicely articulated video. I'm currently reviewing a home printer for purchase; features needed: Multifunction, Monochrome, Wifi, Auto duplex . Had decided on the DCP-L2531DW model, when I noticed another model DCP-B7535DW model that appears to have similar features and is available at a lower price. What are your thoughts on this model? Secondly, do the Brother laser printers come readily with the toner and drum, or do we need to purchase separately?

Extremely helpful video. All the aspects of the printers have been covered very nicely. We continue with our Canan printer, which scans as well as duplicates the documents. At that time Brother printers were not popular but I find that it has a good range of useful printers.

Hi Atul sir! Yes Brother is fairly new in Indian market - their printers are quite good.

Amazing research work. I am in IT industry for 10+ years and I could not have done this much research. I would have bought an HP printer with top ratings in Amazon 😂. Now I choose the brother printer with single options.. Like u said I have started monitoring the price of this model and plan is to buy before 15 jan 2022

Thanks, @GrapevineIndia for putting this up. Had a query, would an ink tank printer continue to print just on black ink (assuming all the other 3 ink cartridges are empty)? Secondly, can I use 4 black cartridges instead of the ideal case where we have one black and 3 colors in the ink tank printer? The question may seem a bit foolish, but I ask these because I am thinking if I can take the liberty to switch backcolorlour cartridges only when required

Can u advice me what to do now , I am really confused.

How does the brother printer you got compare to the pantum p3302dw as it seems to offer similar functions and is in stock

Hi Oliver, this one amzn.to/3sDXEeb from Pantum is a great equivalent for the one that I got. Also this one from Brother is an option too amzn.to/3MFvKXz (but no wifi :(). Main thing to check is if the cartridges are available - which was unclear for Pantum.

Good analysis and the options. I went and applied the same points, bought Brother single printer only model with WiFi. We could use it effectively for my kids school projects during COVID lockdown and my WFH. Btw, Great videos.

Hi Arati, yes! For your daughter's school usage, I recommend an Ink Tank printer as I expect that when you do print, the quantity of prints would be higher and you will have a color print requirement.

Hi, yes Brother prices fluctuate quite a bit like I mentioned. 2321D has no wifi. If that’s ok - you can go for it.

Hello ma'am can you suggest a printer in HP and Brother. single function network printer and multifunction as well. For business purposes (low cost per page). Market is pretty biased towards HP so I need unbaised opinion for a long term use.

Hi @Poppingpsy - if you are printing everyday - I recommend going for an inktank printer that will give you a lower per page cost. If not, yes that's good for business use.

Off topic. When you switched to Stainless Steel utensils or dishwasher safe utensils, did you buy any specific brand utensils or bought locally available ones ma'am?

Hi Venkat, color laser printers can be quite cost prohibitive. Upwards of 28-30K. If you are printing color often, I recommend you to go with an ink tank printer.

Ink printers: have to use in once in a while to ensure the print head doesn't dry out. Laser: slightly expensive. Check if its worth or the price is better off if you print them at a shop.

Hi, you should go for Ink Tank printer for that type of numbers. But make sure you print out a page or two once in 1-2 weeks to avoid it drying out. Laser printers are ideal if you want to print small - medium number of prints - occasionally.

all the USB printer can be connected to laptop? or only a desktop can support the USB connections?

Hi Saumya, great video as always. What I wanted to know is about your thoughts on ROI. With a 4 member family, I always have resisted the temptation and pressure to buy a printer for home use which can be very convenient in certain situations. But on the other side, I always have a feeling that with a printer available at an arms distance, we can potentially keep over printing stuff which can easily be avoided if we had to go and print outside. Personally, what is your take on it? I am not trying to be judgmental. Just want to hear other view points.

Hi CK! Great question as always 😊 Printer at home is always a matter of convenience, in my opinion. For a family that prints frequently - for school work and such - it would definitely make sense to have an ink tank printer at home. For example - if you only do black and white prints and do about 100 prints a month - it would cost you about 10 bucks. Color will cost you about 20 bucks. Same in a print shop, they would charge atleast upwards of 2rupees per print for black and white. So you can recover your printer cost of an ink tank printer in about 3-4 years - depending on which one you buy and how much you print. For someone that prints infrequently like me - lets say 100 prints a year, it is always cheaper to go get it in a store, if you have a store close by. My preference for having a printer is both convenience and security as most often I print confidential stuff like bank statements, id proofs and such which I don’t prefer to have printed externally as they could potentially store and misuse.

Hp might be expensive at first but its repair are cheaper and parts are easily available Brother is mostly used commercially and its parts are hard to find if something goes wrong... Not talking about cartridges when I say parts

Hi Jay, many reasons - lower entry level pricepoint for printer, brand affiliation, limited awareness of what to measure. Not many people know about Brother yet. In addition, since laser printers people expect to print less, the elasticity of higher per page print is low.

I think I should leave from other KZread Channels as they mostly cover the product only from the seller or feature perspective... You are the one comparing all the models from the buyer or real-time usecase perspective.. I like this channel very much.. I should unsubscribe from other channels and subscribe only to your channel...
