No problem you can pick a Bosch Lase finder at Home Depot or Lowes

That's actually a great question, I used a measuring tape for that piece as it was easy to get the length with a tape measure

no you can measure a board with this but there are digital measuring tapes out there

@@yw3317 I haven't done any work like that but Bosch has one called D-TECT200C but it's expensive! It has a radar feature that can view what you are looking for

@@Wouldwoodwork original owner of the house told me there were steel beams underneath top floor to support weights of gym in there ,I’m putting in a 400lbs of power rack place 600lbs of weights , just want to make sure that’s not too much weight for the top floor
