I love the Wynn Encore as well, but for me, I prefer the Venetian Palazzo! Have been staying there for 14 years now, and they treat us really well. Both are truly spectacular though, the best properties in all of Vegas!

Great video James. You are spot on with your inciteful comments - especially regarding the restaurants. One thing I would add as blackjack player is table minimums are really high at Wynn/Encore for the best games, and you need to spend a lot more to get good comps than at the Venetian/Palazzo.

I really appreciate your reviews. Wynn and Encore are total class!! Being in my 40's now I tend to favor that especially when on vacation. Plus you can take a short walk and visit those other properties. We plan on returning to Encore this April. Thanks again and safe travels.

Couldn't agree with you more. Encore is such a rewarding and relaxing experience. I especially like that the strip foot traffic basically terminates in the shoppes between Wynn & Encore, which makes Encore more of an escape from the madness of tourists. Although it leads to a little more dull during the week energy, I prefer the relaxed and upscale feeling. Great breakdown!

Totally - Anyone at encore is there deliberately, which makes the atmosphere and crowd unmatched.

I haven’t been to the Palazzo and have wanted to say there. But i might just stick with the Wynn since you gave an amazing video. Also having the AMEX Plat-Fine Resort Hotel perk….gives us more for our money. Mahālo for the great video. Love all your videos.

If it wasn't for Wynn / Encore, Palazzo would be #1 - it's a marvelous property.

Another great video I'm a big fan of Wynn/Encore and it would take a lot to convince me to stay somewhere else. Walking through Venetian/Palazzo, there are aspects of it I greatly admire (like tile floors), but overall it just strikes me as too gimmicky and I'm just not inspired to stay there. I've not eaten at any spots at Venetian/Palazzo but I really want to check out Mott 32. I've been to Wing Lei at Wynn and would love to compare the two places. Favorite casual dining spot at Wynn/Encore is Red 8. I've never had a bad meal there (eaten there maybe a half dozen times). I do wish Wynn/Encore had more causal dining though. Thankfully, as you mentioned, Fashion Show Mall is just across the street and they have casual dining spots.

Great video James! I think the Wynn's website says it is lightly French theme 🤔.

We thoroughly enjoyed Alexa @ Wynn. Wynn is definitely my favorite property - so close to V/P which makes the W/E resort my "go to" resort. There are two weak links in W/E: the music played in the casino and at the pool and the type of coffee they serve (blech).

Encore Wynn no doubt. I love that encore gives you 12pm checkout and access to all pools.

I had a free weekend in Vegas this Summer at Wynn/Encore. When I called marketing to book and I asked which of the two they recommended, the lady said, "If you stay at Wynn you can only use Wynn pools. If you stay at Encore you may use all the pools." Wasn't a difficult decision after that lol.

I’m on day 5 at the Encore. I love it but I felt like I ate at Venetian/Palazzo more. I’m glad they are connected by a small bridge.

We are huge Wynn/Encore fans.... We are staying at Palazzo for the first time next weekend. Thanks for tempering our experience. I'm sure we are going to have a great time, but your comments match ours.

Yaaaaasssss!!! They should be giving you some sort of comps or kickbacks for all the business you must be getting them. Just my opinion though 🤷🏻

I married at Wyn hotel I stayed there over 3 times absolutely gorgeous amazing service but this time I’m choosing Palazzo the prestige club. Hope i won’t regret it

Just got back from Venetian a month ago and loved it. Want to try Encore when we go back but I’m reading too many reviews that say the music goes to 430 am. from the all day and night pool parties and people can’t get to sleep before that even on the top floors. What’s say ye James C.?

I address this in my room tour. It’s not every night and there is a simple fix.

Most vacationers don’t go to the gym, but it should be mentioned that the Venetian’s gym is huge. The amount of machines & free weights is crazy. They also provide water, towels and masks. Oh, and they also have a large 40-foot rock wall for those that like to climb. I haven’t stayed at the Wynn/Encore, so not sure how their gym compares, but I hear Venetian’s is best on the strip.

Both of the gyms are featured in mv experience videos. A very small percentage of people give credence to the gym when considering the property, so I mention it less and less. The Venetians is the biggest and most prolific - it's like an athletic center - so in that essence, functionally, it is the best. But, it's not nearly as nice as the Wynn's, encore's, or even Bellagio's.

I haven’t been to many restaurants in either of those properties but I’ve been to Bouchon 5 times and I love it. Thomas Keller is the greatest American born chef in our history and that’s not just me saying that. That was Anthony Bourdain’s opinion. I’m surprised it didn’t get a mention

Bouchon is my favorite restaurant in all of Vegas. I could eat there every day and not get bored. Steakhouses are great and all, but after awhile I start craving something else.

@@Krunchy71 my first time I went with 3 friends a few months after it opened and missed the brunch hours. They saw how disappointed I was so they seated us in the garden and brought us ham and turkey sandwiches, potato chips, croissants, coffee, and table wine all for free. I’ll never forget the hospitality.

Palazzo pool is open year round I believe, does anyone know if Wynn/Encore is? Also, I have heard there is a problem with noise from neighboring nightclubs at Wynn/Encore?

Wynn/Encore is the only hotel I stay at when I go to Vegas. There is no other hotel in Vegas that compares; from the food to the ambiance. I do however prefer the Encore much more than the Wynn side since it's much more quite and smaller. It just feel much more calmer then the Wynn.

I've been to the real st mark's square. Small coffee outdoor Cafe there. It's like 20$ just to sit there cause this is where Casanova hung out and hustled women. One of the many famous thing st marks square is remembered for.

Yeah I didn't mention it because I made a stand-alone video on it and didn't want to be redundant. Unfortunately I can't find the footage...

I've always said, once you stay at the Encore, it makes it hard to stay anywhere else. It truly is a spectacular experience. The topless pool, the family pool, the access to the beach club and the bars within the property, it's connection to Wynn, just all high level shit. Went this summer while the NBA summer league was in Vegas first week of July, and holy cow what an experience staying there during that time.

staying at the cosmo ( sex on the terrace x) )but will consider encore next time for sure :D

The decor at Wynn is garish and Encore is completely non-smoking and far from the casino. Palazzo is classic Italian design which I find much more appealing. The casino is a straight line below the rooms too, afterall I go to Vegas for the gambling, not the overpriced food.

Cosmopolitan is better…🤷🏽‍♂️

I used to think that. The problem I have with Cosmo is exactly why I love Encore. Cosmo is too busy (lights, chrome, chic, etc.) but Encore is completely serene. It's nice to escape Vegas at night back to your home base.

Did you just reference SUGAR FACTORY in the same sentence as “great dining”? Yeah, if you’re trying to entertain a 10 year old girl perhaps

It hit me when you said it's hard to find adult only pools in Vegas. It's a shame because Vegas is supposed to be an adult oriented town. But of course it gets gentrified to appease all the parents who have had their cake and want to eat it too. Take those little shrimps to Disneyland
