crash landing on you as you’ll see in some comments takes some time to warm up to. I gave it a chance for first couple of episodes and ended up loving it and crying my eyes out. It’s interesting to learn about the 2 cultures.

Of all the kdramas I've watched, CLOY is my ever favorite. A complete package genre that hooked me to rewatching again and again- action, romance, love, comedy. Everyone can relate to the story of the drama esp us asian countries abt the culture of the two countries. Besides A- listers lead with perfect chemistry. I love everything abt CLOY. Try to finish till last episode, highly recommended. A wjolesome drama

It really does. Above Love Alarm. I used to hype it up as it was my first drama I watched but now I'm just like... ehhh it's not as good as I expected. Crash Landing on You and Vincenzo I can watch multiple times. But whenever I try to watch Love alarm again I quit mid episode 1

"Because This is My First Life" is soooo good (and underrated)!! I come back to it frequently when I am feeling a little lost or "stuck" in my career or relationships. It's definitely a comfort for those who are at a crossroads in their mid-20s early 30s.

Rowena! You should really watch Reply 1988, it’s the best drama ever! Nothing has made me cry more its so heartwarming and comforting and it’s about families, community, parenthood and friends!! It’s set in 1988 and it starts during the Olympics in SK and aaah the show is just SO warm ❤️

True. I was actually disappointed. Hahaha CLOY is phenomenal not because of the main characters but because of the storyline. Superb acting of the supporting actors. I think Rowena likes something fictional and "unrealistic" but has some value.

Crash landing on you never fails to make me weep. The characters are beautiful and the adventure all these characters go on together is beautiful! Definitely recommend you give it a second watch. It does take the first few episodes to warm up to but it is so worth it.

Give CLOY another chance!! 🥺🥺 You'll love it!

Personally, I love the psychological/crime thrillers more than the romantic kdramas... Once I found the genre I couldn't stop watching lol Here are some I liked: Children of Nobody The smile has left her eyes/Hundred million stars from the sky Kill It Black Memoir of a Murderer (this one's a movie but sooo good!!)

Love love love Vincenzo on how you need someone lesser evil to beat the devil. Taecyeon as a villain was superb, he really impressed me with his acting.

My favorite drama of all time has to be Because This is My First Life!!! If you haven’t seen it already I would definitely recommend checking it out!

Please watch "because this is my first life"! It is a down to earth and heartwarming show about everyday life of the two main characters and their friends. Even though there isn't any time travel, action or sci fi, the show is very relatable where everyone is trying to survive life at 20-30 years old. Underrated gem

Ro, I’d totally recommend you to watch Because This is My First Life if you haven’t already!!!!! So heartwarming, the characters are beautifully written and very relatable, and the characters’ dialogues have so much depth and meaning in them. Definitely one of my all-time favourite kdramas!

Crash Landing on to you took some time but I did end up liking it and Record of Youth was cute definitely had me crying a few times

vincenzo is so good!!! Just finished it 🥰 love the relationship between the two main characters

True Beauty has to be one of my favorite K-Dramas of all time, it's just so well made, the actors and actresses were all perfect for their roles, and it's just so binge worthy, definitely would recommend

True beauty is very cringe series. FL had fallen into arms of male lead 7 times in the first 2 episodes 🤦Whenever female lead used to cry...it was so unnatural.

Try 'My Mister'! I think it was the best one IU did ever. It's about personal growth. And this drama really made me think what it is like to be a real adult and what kind of human being to be as we age.

my favourite kdrama has gotta be Scarlet Heart but I CANT BRING MYSELF TO REWATCH IT. Other favs include It's Okay That's Love, Mr Queen (funny af), and Pinnochio!

When the weather is nice. I love the portrayal of the slow yet happy lifestyle of the countryside, where all families come together and care for each other, like a one big family.

I’ve been waiting for this for a LONg time. Of course our darling Rowena gave us what we want. I’m definitely going to be binging this list over the summer . ❤️❤️

I really strongly recommend Flower of Evil! It actually got me hooked from the very first episode and that's so rare in my case (couldn't get past the first episode of CLOY either). I didn't regret it one bit, the storyline is SO well done, the details are insane, a far cry from the predictable dramas. If you like thrillers, it's definitely a top pick, I have yet to find something that will make me forget that kdrama!

you may want to try watching rookie historian goo hae-ryung!! i didn't expect that i'd love that drama so much. it has a very strong female lead and ngl i was curious about the show in the first place bc cha eunwoo was the male lead but i think it's my fave role that i've seen from him so far as well! the plot is just so good it doesn't just focus on the romance between the characters and it went beyond my expectations! p.s. i hope you still finish watching signal!! although the ending was a cliffhanger i really enjoyed it and it's still one of my fave kdramas i'm still hoping they'd release season 2 already :(

VINCENZO is just in a different league. the societal topics it discussed, the relationship between the characters. ITS JUST SO PERFECTTT

I finished Hotel del luna yesterday after watching Ro’s review and recommendation. It was my first time watching K-drama and I must say it was beyond exceptional. Not a single dull moment!! Thanks Ro!!💜

I started Kdrama in Feb 2021. Now 3 months later, I've watched a total of 22 series! VINCENZO was a total mic drop for all Korean dramas IMO. I was totally obsessed. Seeing that you feel the same way, I trust your taste... I'm so gonna cover the rest of your S-tier I've missed. Thank you 💕

I just finished Vincenzo and I'm experiencing SEVERE withdrawal 😭 Controversial, but my favorite drama of *all time* is Suspicious Partner w/ Ji Chang-wook and Nam Jihyun! Despite the subject matter, it is my comfort drama of choice; to me, it's the perfect combination of humor, danger, and slife-of-life, w/ a sprinkle of romance. The chemistry between the leads is much more understated than I think kdrama viewers are used to. I actually didn't love it the first time, but because the plot outside of the romance is so strong, I rewatched it and then truly fell in LOVE with them together. Plus, I'm a sucker for a prosecutor setting, the secondary cast of characters was so strong and integral to the story, and the cases resolved were so satisfying. Coming in at a close second for me is Pinocchio. It's one of the first dramas I ever watched and it has stood the test of time! The reporter setting was so intriguing, the murder and injustice elements were gripping, and the chemistry between Lee Jong-suk and Park Shin-hye was perfection!!

It’s okay to not be okay is the best drama I ever watched , should be god tier😭

Vincenzo has everything! I absolutely enjoyed it ,I cried, I was at the edge of my seat every episode, I shipped the leads sooooOooo hard and the ending is the best that they could have given us given the circumstances! (Also you should give crash landing on you a try it’s really really good it’s an saranghae oppa one :(, it’s okay it’s love is another drama that is soooo underrated but teaches you so much that it should be given a lot more recognition!)

My Mister is my top!!! It's so raw and all the characters have good development :")

Idk, if I am the only one, but the first episodes, I just felt anxious and annoyed by every character. So I didnt finished for that reason. Maybe, someday I give it another chance...

I’m excited for this! SIS WHY HAVE YOU NOT WATCHED CRASH LANDING ON YOU?! Okay so Ro trust us when we say you need to get to episode 4 to enjoy this show. It definitely starts of very slow. One spring night, Vincenzo, Crash landing on you, Iteawon Class, King eternal monarch and Its Okay not to be Okay are my faves atm.

"Something in the Rain" is my top notch drama. Brilliant. I cannot praise it enough. I watched it 6 times! ♥️

Mr Sunshine is also on my top list. Awesome cinematography and storyline. Vincenzo is also on top, I was and still am obsessed!

What about Strangers and Kill me heal me!!!!! These both are some of the best kdramas I have EVER watched. Please watch them if you haven't till now. I am sure you will absolutely love them 💕💕 Also, reply 1988. I swear, no kdrama can be ever better than reply 1988. Also, something in the rain and one spring night! You need to watch Jung Hae-in

I love Kill Me, Heal Me. It amazed me that I started with ..."Ehhh, the male lead is ok", and then Shin Segi happens and my feelings totally change.

You have to watch One Spring Night! The best drama I have ever watched, loved it. I was quite surprised with some of your ranking (especially w two worlds, a lot of people liked it but I had such hard time finishing, I thought it was pretty terrible in my opinion). Anyway now you make me want to watch Mr Sunshine! I’ll probably get around to it soon!

i’ve been on such a kdrama high rn, this is just what i needed! my favorite that i’ve finished recently is Run On - the pacing is so great, the portrayal of healthy relationships was really heart fluttering, and the overarching “redemptive” storyline was so fulfilling! it’s very slice of life, but the charm of it is really the dialogue between the characters. i’ve rewatched it several times since march hehe, i’ve been recommending it to everyone lately!

But, did yall forget kill me, heal me??!!! The most iconic drama! The storyline is just so perfect!

OMG you should really give Crash Landing on You a second try. I know people already said it, but you'll seriously fall in love with many of the characters. I also had a hard time getting past the first episode but once I did I got HOOKED. I finished it in two days and cried my eyes out. Vincenzo and CLOY are quite similar in terms of the comedy/drama/suspense, so I feel like if you loved Vincenzo you will really love CLOY.

Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo was the most heartbreaking drama I’ve ever watched. I literally went into depression for like 1 week after I finished it 😭

Please watch "because this is my first life" it will touch your heart and was such a beautifully written drama.

Omg please watch "Lovestruck in the City". I feel like it was such an underrated gem and I absolutely loved that it changed up the format of a traditional k-drama with the mockumentary style of filming.

Ughhh for real! Such realistic feelings I could relate to. Damn Episode 8 had me sobbing 😭😭 I loved that they make you think you know the whole story but more and more gets revealed and it makes things more complex

True beauty is very cringe series. FL had fallen into arms of male lead 7 times in the first 2 episodes 🤦Whenever female lead used to cry...it was so unnatural.

Kdramas around 2015-2017 we're all so good, they set my standards so high

Memories of the Alhambra was my fav!! Just incredible. Also I was similar with crash landing but gave it another try later on and definitely glad I did, didn't stop crying for the last 2 episodes

rowena your timing is impeccable, I just finished the K2 last night and absolutely loved it, so I've been looking for more k dramas to fill the void. I also watched vagabond based on your recommendation a while ago and I really enjoyed that one too!!

Because this is my first life gave me all these butterflies. It balances this realistic aspect and also crazy coincidences. The projection of mental growth is really realistic. The side couples too were just as cute as the main couple but not over shining them. Overall just perfection.

Cloy is the most kdrama I really loved for a long time since I found one I like❤️❤️😍😍. I was addicted to it. I have watched it three times or two at least apart from repeating listening to the music and songs. 🎶😅❤️

I honestly felt the same about Crash Landing on You in that I couldn't nail down the main character and I felt it was kind of goofy but honestly once I got a few episodes in I was hooked 🤷🏼‍♀️ There's like a complete 180 in I think episode 2? It's been a while since I watched it.
